If you had to choose between having your eyesight or your hearing which would you choose?


I'd want both but if pressed to choose id say sight. I gotto have my eye candy because Guys R Hot. Voices are hot too but Guys R Hot.


Whats your sense of choice given the options?
 
I'd rather keep my eyesight... that way I could still draw.. I can still watch my foreign films (subtitles) and I can still watch anime...


not to mention still look at the pretty boys
 
Art is my life so I would definitely choose sight. I can barely see as it is, though.
 
I've been losing my hearing for decades (Nerve Deafness, Tinitus) so I choose to keep my sight.

Wouldn't it be nice if the Drug Companies could find cures for REAL diseases and conditions, instead of the heartbreak of Male Pattern Baldness and Limp Dick Syndrome???​

too many people talk too much shit, tv's blaring shit, whole worlds to damn noisy...give me a good book, my patio lounge and spa and a thermos of martinis...i'm happy and will leave you alone. just ck my thermos every so often and when it runs low shake me up a new batch. no need to even ask.:badgrin:
 
I can't imagine giving up music, but I chose sight anyway. It just seems to impractical to be blind.

At work today I met a client who is in a wheelchair and is deaf and blind.... he seems happy but I wouldn't want either... but I would rather have hearing as I couldn't live without music.

that sums it up for me but I'll have a gin and tonic instead.
 
I have been very hard of hearing since childhood, and it can be a drag sometimes, but my hearing aids help a lot. I do read lips to some extent, which I couldn't do if I lost my vision. Plus reading has always been one of my favorite passtimes, so I'd say the eyes are more important to me.
