todays feature, a teacher frightens and attempts to indoctrinate (more than they already are via the US education curriculum) her students, warning that the government is corrupt and Trump is still president. Surprisingly, this story was covered by Faux and not with nary a sympathetic or affirming tone.

A California middle school teacher was removed from the classroom after a recording surfaced of her telling students that the government "has way too much power" and allegedly saying Donald Trump is still president.

I hope "removed from the classroom" is a euphemosm for "fired."

Glass half full, the advent of the internet is the first time in history that the American narrative isnt controlled exclusively by white guys. They're struggling to maintain dominance because you cant effectively silence minorities anymore. You cant hide the truth as easily. It is the single most important tool for marginalized communities since ever.

And at the risk of sounding biased, I think the scales are tipping to our favor. Every setback is followed by gains, however small. The internet is like a hot boyfriend that's a bum and doesn't have a job. Yeah he plays guitar and smokes pot all day and he's rude to your family, but boy can he fuck.
