So a few months ago, I hooked up with a “friend” of mine. He took a video of him sucking me off and sent it to me. I asked if I could put it on my Twitter, which he said no to. So I said that I wouldn’t and I didn’t.

Now, he’s coming back to me claiming said video is in fact on my Twitter and has a screenshot of it, to which he won’t provide me with. I’m after checking my Twitter to see if it was there and it’s not. He’s now threatening legal action for something I clearly didn’t do. Can I get some help here?

What kind of "legal action" is he planning on pursuing? Criminal? Civil? Is it credible? Is he trying to get you to destroy the video? Give him money, threatening you with Police, what?

The laws governing stuff like this are going to vary depending on where you are. You need to find a lawyer who's licensed in your state, who will be able to give you accurate advice.

It's kind of hard to guess what might be helpful without more context.

Stepping back for a moment.

To sue you, he's going to have to hire a lawyer.

If he hires a lawyer, he's going to have to tell the lawyer, "I was sucking off a guy and I let him take a video of me sucking him off".

Then he has to show the video to the attorney and possibly the legal assistant. The attorney will also want proof that you posted the video and the attorney will have to come up with a State law that allows him to sue.

If the attorney agrees to take his case, then he's going to have to come up with a retainer fee- usually somewhere in the neighborhood of $2,000 to $5,000, to start.

Tell him to put up or shut up. If he doesn't come up with proof, then block him.

He didn’t say what type. He just said “legal action.”

Then ignore it, block him, or tell him to shove it.

From what little you describe, that is not a credible lawsuit, nor is it a crime probably. A civil suit can be brought for any reason you're willing to pay a lawyer to argue, but that doesn't mean the court will entertain it. Civil suits usually want redress for harm caused or prevention or suspension of some activity. He'd have to prove in court that you cost him something or threatened to publish without his consent for a court to even care.

Of course, if he's reporting you for a crime, he's got to convince the police to act, then convince a DA to prosecute, according to the criminal law in your state. Which by the way, is probably available online.

If you didn't do it, he can't have the evidence he claims. Similarly to KaraBulut, I'd tell him to get lost and block him.

From what you said that you did not post the video so you were telling him the truth

Did you knew he was recording you doing the deed?

Unless he sent it to someone and they posted it on twitter or he did on his own or lying either way i would just block him and move on.
