have to go with Enjoy the Silence. It was the first DP song I ever heard when I was younger. Cant say I know that many songs by them tho.

Another one of my favorites. The official video shows the lead singer, Dave Gahan, dressed as a king and traveling along a mountain. I think another promo video had the band playing the song atop one of the World Trade Center towers in 1990. Great song. I saw them last year in August and they were wonderful. Dave Gahan did a lot of sexually suggestive bumping and grinding and drove the crowd wild. Love a wide variety of their songs.
 
ya, I saw the video on MTV when it came out. That's how I got "introduced" to them. cool video too.
