I think it's because Julius' Bear Men are 6'5" Tall and really muscular, in comparison to the twinks being 5"8" and slim or athletic. It's the height/weight perspective that makes it look that way.
From what I've seen of his work, the twinks in his stories start at 18 year old high schoolers to college fratboys. The daddy and son relationship.
It's not the twinks I'm attracted to at all, it's the rendering of these fine specimens of Bear Manhood that heats me up.

I like artwork of muscular men better, (My favorite art site has lots of those)
but i have also came across some very nice artwork of muscular bears as well. However most of the links are japanese tho, i can try and post some of their banners here and artwork here when i got the time.
