Can I post here if I don´t like them?

Not one song that I enjoy from them. I hate the Supremes and especially Diana Ross who was nothing but a mediocre voice (regardless of what anyone says) with absolutely no other talent, not as a song writter or producer. Besides, in the 80s you could tell just how shitty she was. I will never ever get the love for her.

Now Martha and the Vandellas, they were the true queens of Motown. No other girl group did such quality songs in 10 years as they did.

You Keep Me Hanging On but I love all their songs.

I agree that Diana Ross was mediocre but there was no denying that the Supremes were glamorous and pretty much amazing back in their heyday.

I loved I hear a Symphony
Someday We'll Be Together
and I really enjoyed the song The Happening that they did for the film of the same name.

I don't think there's any denying Florence was the real singer of the group. If you've never heard it, you should look up Silent Night where Florence sings lead; incredible! Mary was certainly the "looker." While Ross was with the group, my favorite track is Love is Like an Itching in My Heart.

However, the group got stronger once Miss Ross left. Up the Ladder to the Roof is my favorite track post Ross. It begins as a softly performed song, but by the end of the song, Jean Terrell lets any doubters know, she's here to stay!

"Reflections", which was used as the title tune for China Beach.

I love Diana Ross...but I think of the songs above as songs from Diana Ross and the Supremes...

After Diana left and Mary Wilson came on board...they had a string of LPs and hits as The Supremes...

My favorite Supremes songs...

Nathan Jones
Up The Ladder To The Roof
I'm Gonna Let My Heart Do The Walking
Floy Joy

Um, Mary was the only member of the group from beginning to end. They were also only known as The Supremes from '61-'67...|

I vote for other, as in Buttered Popcorn.
I favour the tracks where anyone but Diana sings lead, though I like hers too.

From the 70s Supremes, my first choice is Stoned Love, and Early Morning Love.

Brain Fart...I knew that....you are right. I got her mixed up with Cindy Birdsong.

While The Supremes were a hit machine there were a few misses. Barry Gordy was certain that his new song cashing in on the Astrology craze would be a another big hit. By the time the song "No Matter What Sign You Are" was released the whole "Age of Aquarius" thing was so over. What a difference a year makes. Had the song been released in 1968 instead of 1969, "No Matter What Sign You Are" may have been the smash hit The Supremes expected.

Sure is one hell of a over-produced extravaganza of a song though - LOL!!!

During the Diana Era...a tie between I Hear A Symphony and The Happening. Post-Diana: Stoned Love and Nathan Jones.

But if you ask most people, the answer would be either Baby Love or their signature song....Stop! In The Name of Love
