Favourite Gloria Estefan songs

Unfortunately she is the weakest link.

I love Gloria Estefan! I think she was my first favorite musician. My favorite songs are "Cuts Both Ways" and "Here We Are." Cuts Both Ways is just really unique in its instrumentals and highlights her beautiful voice so well.

I would also have to say that "Falling In Love (Uh-Oh)" and "Live For Loving You" are a few of my other Gloria Estefan favs too.

Those are two of my favorite as well. Her first couple of albums in spanish are my favorite ones before she crossed over. She is a wonderful person, I met her before they were famous while I was working at a tv station. Years later I went to her concert at a state fair and asked the security people if I could say hello. To my amazing surprise, she remember who I was, she could not remember my name but she knew how we had met years earlier. She and her husband Emilio invited my partner and I backstage before and after the show and she even asked her people to make sure we were at the very front during the show and even more special, she dedicated a song to us. It was one of those awesome moments, everybody was looking at us like we were the stars.

Not to bore you with my details but years after that when she became mega popular, a friend and I went to a record store where she was signing autographs but sadly the crowd was huge and we were left outside looking in through the store front window, she was seated with her back to us. At one point she turned around saw me and, again, to my utter surprise recognize me and instructed her security people to come and get me, it was so cool. People thought I was a relative, she treated my friend and I like we were her best friends, she got us drinks and ask us to sat down with her for a while. One of my favorite stories about celebrities.

omg.....hard to say, if I HAD to vote it would be "Can't Stay Away From You", but since I didn't HAVE to and had the option of "other", here's my tie for Fave Gloria songs:

- Can't Stay Away From You
- Coming Out of the Dark (mainly because of her story behind it, the bus crash, her broken back, etc)
- I See Your Smile
