A few years ago, the scouts were looking for a location for a Star Trek episode with Jean Luc Picard and they came rolling into our driveway....fortunately with a handy shotgun and
12 baying mastiffs, we ran them off (actually didn't work for other very good reasons).

Although I had to dodge them for months while I worked at a non-profit lodged on one of their primary shooting sites.

This past week we have a series shooting just down the road a few kms and fortunately it was only a couple of days...but over 30 trailers and trucks and dozens and dozens of
staffers. We survived, but it was literally 'Day for Night'.

A few years ago, our village was shut down for 2 days while they shot less than a minute of footage for a commercial.

Have you had to reorganize your lives for film shoots?

Did you get to give lip service to the Talent?

There was a film made in our street once, parking became impossible for a few days but it is never easy at anytime.
I cannot tell you the name of the movie, Mr Green-blue's bots would work out my address from that, but it was shite anyway and not worth watching. Talent? what talent.

I live in NYC so I walk through film sets on a regular basis. I waited in line in McDonalds with Gabe Kaplan (way back when people knew who he was), said "Hi!" to Julianne Moore, followed Sean William Scott for like ten blocks, and got knocked into a snowbank by Alec Baldwin. Just last December I met John Waters on the N train.

Yes. Pretty much every few months some film company or other is filming in, or around, my block of flats. Whenever the location scouts need a run-down Council estate as a dystopian backdrop they film here.

Over the years I've had several letters and emails asking to rent my flat for a week or so for filming. But I'm not interested in moving all my stuff out for them to do so.

It seems to be mostly TV stuff: Outlaws, Skins, Casualty, and a host other other things were filmed here as well as dozens of minor films and series. I haven't seen any of them.

There's always filming going on in my living room but that's cuz it keeps all my trick-off profits in-house...... literally. Check out my new Marvelle series: Assvengers: Infinity Whore.

Did you blow SWS? I will officially disown you as a friend if you didn't blow his fine-but-dumb-ass.
