I won't be getting it. Anything nintendo to me is like that weird guy I want to stay away from.
To register, turn off your VPN; you can re-enable the VPN after registration. You must maintain an active email address on your account: disposable email addresses cannot be used to register.
Whether you want to admit it or not, Square actually enjoys doing business with Nintendo again.
One thing to note, XIII is going to be 3 games.
Looks like they're going to go back to the "Crystal" storyline. You know four crystals to rule them all?
So I went everywhere today to get FFIII and no one fucking had it, everyone was either waiting to get it, or not even bothering putting it in stock. Pissed me off it did.
I couldn't get it later because I saw the Goo Goo Dolls tonite, which was awesomers.
Anywho hopefully better luck tomorrow.
Because I know it is going to happen, I decided to make a "offical" friend code topic to prevent people from making topics involving friend codes. This topic will answer some questions about friend codes and also be a topic for displaying them. First, a tiny FAQ for new people.
1. What is a friend code?
A friend code is a special code that will allow you to connect with other people through Wi-Fi. You have to give a person your friend code and they will be able to connect to you and send you emails through the mognet system. At the same token, you can send messages if you have someone else's friend code.
2. How do I find my friend code?
First, find a moogle in a town. Next go to the "Address Book" on the menu. Next click "display friend code". The game will ask you to save to your DS the info needed to connect to Wi-Fi with that game. (NOTE: Please read your Wi-Fi connection manual in order to learn how to properly connect your DS to a Wi-Fi connection. If you do not have the manual then you either don't own the game or you hacked it you pirate!) Once you do this however, you can ONLY connect to Wi-Fi through that DS. Otherwise, you have to go through the intire process again and it may change your friend code (not sure on this one).
3. Why should I go through all of this?
This system will allow you to open up different side quests, ultimate weapons, the Onion Knight job class, and a super-boss called the Iron Giant. Also it could be fun to tell your friend that you just beat a boss in one try when he/she has tried 20.
4. How do I see/send/recieve mail?
In order to send mail, choose the "Send Mail" option on your Mognet menu. To receive mail, use the "Moghouse" option on your Mognet menu. From there, you can choose "From Nearby Friends" which is over the wireless linkup or "From Faraway Friends" which would be over Wi-Fi. In order to see your mail, choose the "View Mail" option on your menu.
I think that covers everything.
I've always liked the FF series. I remember playing I on the NES. I even bought a PS1 so I could play VII when Square/Square-Enix defected to Sony.
Last FF I played was XI as I wasn't suitably motivated to invest in a PS2 to continue the series and I'm certainly NOT taking out a loan to buy a PS3 to continue.
That said, I will pick up FFIII for the DS at some point but the Wii and Z:TP is first on the list.
Finally after 2/3 days of deaing with Fraking morons I got this game.
I've played the first 10 minutes or so.
The music is awesome. It deffinately has that "retro" feel to it. Navigating the menus is easy. The Battles are just like the "old" one's and it runs very smoothly.
The Cinematics are beautiful too and the flow of the game is nice.
I refuse to listen to IGN and I don't know why I even bother to read their reviews other the for how poorly done they are and condescending.
This game is great, a must for Final Fantasy fans who own a DS, or plan on owning one.
(I've only played the first 10 minutes and I'm already singing it's praises!)
I really like this game.
I guess IGN is another pair of "gamers" who just suck at games. Like someone on this board....![]()
Old like FF I & II.
But only they're like FFVII because they're 3D.
It's very well done. GET IT NOW!
So far no, I imagine insane Boss battles do, but that's expected no?
I mean you love twelve...Some of those battles take forever.
I think this game is pretty well done, it's remiscent of old, and it's done up liek VII, VIII, and IX.
Hell I wouldn't be surprised if VII - IX get's ported to the DS. They ported I&II-IV-VI to the GBA why not eh?
