A friend was telling me this weekend about his friend that worked on a fishing boat during his holidays. His job was to clean the freshly caught fish. They were catching "snoek" a particularly smelly fish.

He was saying that after doing this for a few weeks he smelled so badly of fish that he could not go near his girlfriend for a month.

I immediately realised that there was endless possiblities for a clever remark here. I tried my best but could not think of a suitable clever remark...............But I bet you guys can. Lets hear it! (!) (!) (!)

*cringing*

Ugh!

Don't even wanna go there, let alone 'think' there!

I thought my remark was 'clever'. Guess I'm not even a 'nobody'. (Where's that sulky, pouty smilie?)

Wow. This is the best there is? *wave*

Geez! Dancing bananas we got! Smilies getting blowjobs we got! But not a single sulky, pouty smilie!

How about...

"I just wanted to show you that I had a feminine side." ???

"Give me SOME credit. I cleaned out the last 2 cases of Summer's Eve that the drug store had!" ??

"OK. Now we're even. How do YOU like it?" ??

I'm told that snoek is the number one food craving of South Africans who live overseas. Could that be true?

"I'm just trying to meet your standards..."

"I too can be a woman."

"What? I didn't think you would notice the smell?"

Dunno, my two cents.

Why? Is she starting to smell like a Lesbian?

I'm kidding! I'm kidding!

One of my pet Lesbians tells me that if "it smelled like fish I sure as hell wouldn't eat it!"

what did adam say after eve took her first bath in the ocean?

damn.... how are we going to get that smell out of the fish

There is an old joke about God coming down to the Garden of Eden and asking Eve what she was doing. Eve answers, "Lord, I was just swimming here in the lake." God says, "Eve, I told you not to swim in the lake. Now all the fish are going to smell."

And here is a joke that will probably get me all kinds of hell. Why are lesbians' navels so big? That is where they keep the tartar sauce.

[Sorry, Andreus--you beat me to the punch. But I know a joke even worse than the lesbian story. I would be drummed out of JUB if I told it though.]

I don't know about that, but freshly prepared snoek is delicious. It tates different from any other fish. Must mention it is smoked.

i love the taste of fish, but I hate the strong odored stuff

gotta be the more delicate cold water ones for me...
