My dad has just about everything they ever did, he is nuts over them.
I have listened to many of the albums and they are awesome.
As an amateur drummer I can really get into Mick fleetwood, he is an amazing drummer.
Have you heard Tusk? that marching band at the end gets me every time:D

Ever heard the early 70s live version of Stevie Nicks :"Rhiannon"?
I was done before she strained her voice and had to start easing up on the screams. It's a hell-of-a version. She can't do that anymore :(
When she sings it now it's down a peg as not to strain her cords

Bare Trees is a classic. Can't stand Nicks.

I Love Fleetwood Mac, Dreams is one of my favorite songs!

Yep, great band, have seen them four times in concert over the years. Like a lot of the early stuff but have to admit that with the addition of Lindsay Buckingham
( a major hottie in his day ! ) and Stevie Nicks they really took off for me. Ever heard their solo album Buckingham Nicks, darkemoboi ?

I had Kiln House on vinyl back in the 90s. Long time ago, now. I bought it on a whim at a used vinyl store the same day I got Tusk.

Fun record. They really never had a bad album.. a few iffy ones... but no bad ones.

Darkemo...

If you're really into the 'early' Fleetwood Mac years...you MUST check out
the 'Live in Boston' series 1 & II...

This is VERY trippy stuff from the late 60's, early 70's featuring Peter Green, who many consider a guitarist on the level of Clapton.

Years and years before the 'Buckingham/Nicks' era, this is the 'real shit', and the reason why so many people hated what Stevie did to the band.

This is even before MY time (lol) and I'm not sure this music can be fully appreciated without some sort of 'pharmaceutical assistance', if you know what I'm sayin'...

But, at any rate, go to Amazon and search for it...it's easy to find.

Enjoy.

Their best song hands down is Sara.

"Drowning in the sea of love..."

It's really long but never gets boring, in fact there's a part where the beat changes and for a second sounds like a second song.

There are so many Fleetwood Mac covers that I only found out later how good the originals were - Landslide, Dreams, Songbird... and I think Lindsay's guitar on Big Love is absolutely fantastic.

I do think some of Stevie's songs go on a bit, but then I'm not a fan of long songs anyway.
