This is only vaguely inspired by metta's atmophere manipulation thread, but it put me to thinking a little humorously.

Assuming another species could have programming as banal as the houseflipping shows, which species will be waiting the wings for us to finish running down this house called Earth, and what will they do to remake it for their own tastes?

The arthropods?

The rodents?

The avians?

The koata mundi?

Or will kudzu finally lead the chlorophyllites to the apex?

Planet of the Aphids? Anyone? Anyone?

No...just speculating that aliens will find the earth to be a total tear down and start with a tabula rasa.

I'm more mathematical. Just like the scientists who calculate that life must be ubiquitous because inabitable planets are, I project that traversing the interstellar voids is a mathematical improbability. Once you adjust for time spans of civiliations and lack of overlap, and add in the distance problems, there is very little likelihood that any other advanced life forms, if any life exists outside Earth, will not visit here.
