Isn't it outrageous that Mark Fuhrman (Mark Fuhrer) is guest commentator on many of Fox New's shows? His claim to fame was his racist tirade against Jews and African Americans.

How can he get a job on a major news network and no one call them out on that?

Or am I overreacting?
 
While I agree with your disdain for Furhman, this is the land of the free. When Fox runs out of audience then scum like Furhman will disappear. Remember, Fox also has Dick Morris and he was a Clintonite Democrat.
 
Fuhrman talked about gang members and was quoted as saying, "Yeah we work with niggers and gangs. You can take one of these niggers, drag 'em into the alley and beat the shit out of them and kick them. You can see them twitch. It really relieves your tension."[1] He went on to say "we had them begging that they'd never be gang members again, begging us". He said that he would tell them, "You do what you're told, understand, nigger?"

The U.S. media is about "conflict" and "ratings" not about integrity, or responsibility, or even NEWS for that matter. (Unless the network is "making the news" instead of reporting it, and then that's okay.) :rolleyes:

I mean really, did he hire an agent and say "I would like to enter television after the OJ Trial"? And did an agent then agree to represent the racist?

Didn't the agent or Fox News realize when they did a background check that Fuhrer is a convicted felon?

Hey, I'm not Jewish or African American but I think it's deplorable to hire someone with a known racist background (ignoring him being a felon) to be a face on a product/brand so widely available.

It's not the kind of image I'd like to send of my company if I were CEO. BUT, Fuhrer's past and beliefs and languages didn't bother Ailes.

Ailes, just face it is from the Jim Crow era. So is Imus. So is Pat Robertson. So is Falwell.

The newer generations who can't come to powerful positions soon enough are much more open minded of people who are different. And that's a fact.
