Fratmen dissappointing...

Soilwork, I am dissappointed at the latest update. Don't get me wrong, I like uncut cocks, but I feel like using material we already have access to as an "update" is not very fair to the people paying money to join the site.

Most of your rival sites update 2 times a week, but still I have been loyal to fratmen.com . However, I am very dissappointed in this update. I think something like this update shoudl be something extra ON TOP of a new guy each and every week.

Thats just my opinion, as a paying customer. Was really looking forward to seeing a new, hot, jock guy like you guys have done so well. However, updates like this one will lead me to changing to another site.

I guess since this is directed right at me I may as well answer it.

I'm not sure what you mean about material that you already have access to. The new "Uncut Collection" update is a new scene with Dale. Dale did a movie with us before, but this scene is new to FratmenTV. Many members asked for an "Uncut Special" much like the "Muscleman Special" we did earlier this month (which probably generated the most amount of enthusiastic fan mail of any movie since Tyler got blown by Kenny two years ago).

We got a whole new set of pictures of Dale and put together some other previously unseen pictures of other uncut Fratmen through the years. John got Dale to play with his foreskin and made this scene with uncut lovers in mind. I think it's just beautiful and Dale is in GREAT shape.

We actually had two updates this week. The other update was called "Fratpad Friday" and it was over an hour of a bunch of previously unreleased footage of the guys. Some from long-gone Fratpad Friday archives (but shot on DV, not a web cam) and some was NEVER before seen video of the guys on vacation and out on Venice Beach. It has a Jack off race, the "Pumpkin Fucking" scene from last Halowe'en and a kinda odd freak-dance with Chase and Ricky in the shower together.

Some people have said that they can find Fratmen to be a bit "sterile" at times because we don't let the guys talk in their movies. This is, of course, because a Fratmen movie is supposed to feel like you're a fly on the wall watching a man all by himself, unaware that he's performing for anyone. "Voyeuristic" is the word we hear a lot.

But if you want a more human touch, we have five hours of LIVE! shows every week (oh, and archives are now updated every other week. We went back into the vaults and found LOTS of lost shows with Craig, Leo, Ricky, Carter, Caleb and yes... even me), a blog featuring lots of behind-the-scenes video of the guys just hanging out, being themselves and having fun while on location shooting their movies and finally movies like this (you might remember a bunch of footage like this was released with "Fratmen's Greatest Shots V2" earlier this year) that many members have said is the missing puzzle piece for them.

Thanks for your support. We're going to have an exciting first four months at Fratmen. We've got some of the hottest men lined up for the next 12 weeks. We've had trouble deciding who would go in which order, to be honest. We'll have a totally new roster of guys for the Fratmen LIVE! shows featuring guys like Grant, Luke, Trey, Andrew, Rich plus some returning favorites like Alan, Connor, Max and Dean and some extremely hot new guys you haven't met yet like Van, Calvin and Rand. We're also hoping that Diego and Skylar will be coming to Fratmen LIVE! next year as well. We're going to probably just do one show from the new Fratpad every week so we constantly keep things fresh... stay tuned.

I know you cant be all things to all people with different interests, but I for one really enjoy a nice, young, new stud every week to watch please himself. Thanks again for the prompt reply.

Yes, I agree...instead of making compilation updates and Taking time to Hawk Ex-Models all over the web and at the fratpad site (can anyone pick out how many of those models dont actually work for fratpad or fratmen anymore?) ((can anyone say false advertising..and dont give me your comment about their videos are still available there...people join to see them live, not on video)

Why not try actually hiring models who are gay friendly and dont think of themselves as little Prima Donas or Messiahs...This Might actually bring in new members and keep the ones who are leaving after the December 28th fiasco.

Of course not. What that means is that we're going to be having a whole new roster of men doing live shows on FratmenTV and only one show per week from a resident of the new Fratpad.

You'll still get 5 shows per week but instead of a group of 6 guys from the Pad doing a rotating schedule, you'll have LOTS guys doing LIVE! shows so things stay fresh. People said they wanted to see new faces and that's what we're going to bring them. We'll still have a guy from the pad every week, but we're aiming to have just one.. maybe one every other week.

Not at all. It's all new content in the Collections. We did have a cum shot collection that was a 90-minute movie of 52 cum shots from the past year but that was accompanied by a whole bunch of new footage as well.

If it was just re-packaged content I'd agree with the filler comment.

This new Uncut Collection is an all-new movie with Dale and new photos of Dale along with previously unseen pictures of other Fratmen who were uncut.

Call it our homage to foreskin. No filler involved at all. Just giving members what they had asked for.

Icarus I believe that you're getting that off the of a DVD cover.

You need understand that the Max/Payne scene was a full update on Fratmen.TV but was included with other scenes on the Muscleman Collection DVD. The other scenes weren't part of that update because they were all already on Fratmen.TV.

That Max/Payne scene was shot for the Muscleman Collection DVD but was good enough to be a stand-alone update on Fratmen.TV. Members were demanding to see it. It was, in fact, one of the most popular updates on Fratmen.TV this year.

Mustangman actually gave us kudos for it in this thread.

Do your self a favor and join. Dont listen to all the BS floating around the Net. These sites still have the hottest boys you can get.
I subscribe to FratmenTV as I love the archive section from the Frat Pad. I can watch the guys "blow a load" any time I want and I really think that Soilwork and Jason are raising the bar with the Duo's and these special releases.
This week, we did have 2 releases which was a nice present.

I am not sure what is going on at the pad but believe that all is well and that the changes will be worthwhile and will only enhance what they have provided in the past.

If there is one critism of the Fratpad it is teh special shows that happen every few week. While I don't doubt that they are great, they are expensive and you need a subscription to the pad to get in.

Despite that, I have been a loyal member for almost a year and am very happy with my choice.

I never had a strong opinion about Fratmen/Fratpad one way or the other, beyond thinking that some of the guys were cute and whoever did the photography had a good eye for it. But the juvenile stunt they pulled the other day put me off, and now the behavior of the site's defenders is putting me off even more -- much, much more. They're not doing the site any favors, that's for sure.

Well thats up to you. Though I think you may be a little misinformed to judge a website based on the testimonials of a handful of members (ex and current). Like JUB; fratmen and fratpad get a lot of lovely members (and dare I say fratmen) - but also some bad apples too. If you are in the mood you should check it out, I wouldn't let a few old queens put you off.
