I'm looking for a good (and free) video converte to Ipod touch. I tried Videora... but I found it complicated and didn't really help at all. Can anyone suggest anyone else? Thanks.

So I tried Handbreak.... and its a good program, but I dont think I know how to use it properly. The videos come out a bit pixalated... can anyone help me with this? Thanks. btw some vids are from youtube and some are large avi files. Thanks

why didnt you mention these formats earlier, you were asked !
ok on youtube dont d/l the flv d/l the mp4 format which is suitable for the touch.NOT all youtube vids come in mp4. If it looks like crap on youtube it will look crap period. We have no idea how you d/l these from youtube and you'll need to help us with more info. if you cant work it out how to d/l the mp4's . I am only helping with the youtube for starters
BTW the only 2 people who answered are primarily mac users but I'm sure we'll both help as much as can but you need to supply the info upfront not after, thanks

I know I shouldn't complain when they are giving their software for free but my main gripe is, it takes damn too long to convert normal length movie to normal quality format. It usually takes me about an hour which I think unacceptable. You might say it's my computer spec but I don't think it is. Cuz I have athlon x2 6000+, 4gb of ram plus SATAII hdd.
Alright... I'll give the firefox thing a try. If it doens't work... well i'll keep posting 
Update: Gave up on Videora and handbreak and I started using WinFF. So far it works great!
