Frenuloplasty diary [NSFW]

As mentioned in this thread, i'm going for a frenuloplasty tomorrow afternoon.
I'll keep a photo diary in this dropbox folder -(WARNING: NSFW - Some photos will show a swollen penis and stitches, open the folder only if you can handle this sort of stuff!) and i will report how it feels, what is harder to cope with, etc.
I'm not sure i will be able to add Day 1 photos, i was told i cannot pull the foreskin back in the first 24h after the surgery. I will try to ask the nice little cub urologist to take a photo with my phone when he does the final check up before i am discharged from the hospital!

Day 1
What a fuss to get something like this done on public healthcare. The time wasted on procedures for pure hospital policy is beyond belief!
I got to the hospital at 6am and managed to get ticket nº2 for blood tests. Did blood tests, then ECG, then x-ray and by 11am i had nothing to do till 2pm. So i stayed in the car reading.
Private healthcare would request, at most, some of the blood tests, not even all and that's it. No ECG or x-ray.
Then at 1h30pm i go to the surgery ward, do an extensive interview with a head nurse about all my medical life, then they send me to the recovery ward, take clothes off, put on hospital pijama, head cover, disposable sleepers and they leave me in a bed for 1h with a saline drip. They only allowed me to do the surgery if i gave them a contact of a person that would pick me up. I asked why? makes no sense for this surgery, they say... "hospital policy" and i will only be discharged AFTER that person shows up. So i annoyed my sister to come "pick me up". At 3pm they come to take me to the surgery room give me gas + local anesthetic (gas so i wouldn't move and interfere). Another hour in the recovery ward after the surgery to absorb more saline drip and then they call my sister to come "pick me up". My sister shows up, get discharged and they give me some painkillers (some normal, some super strong that i hope i won't need!). My sister asks me why she needed to pick me since i'm obviously fine and in conditions to drive and i say "hospital policy" to cover themselves. So she leaves and i drive myself home. I don't feel any pain or discomfort now, but i haven't tried to urinate yet. I was told to put ice over my trousers today and tomorrow if it is still swollen.
I haven't seen how it looks yet, because i'm afraid of pulling the foreskin back, but i have to do it, they said i need to wash it 2x a day with Offenbach soap (old style blue and white soap used to do laundry manually ages ago), they said it is still the best soap to clean wounds because it's more active against bacteria and the PH is more skin friendly, and to put skin healing + antiseptic cream.
I'll upload a photo to the folder soon, when i gain courage to go wash it.
Conclusion: If you need this surgery and can afford it, do it in private care! It's not as expensive as a circumcision (it's 150$/100€ +/-), it's much quicker and save your self from all the generic hospital policy bullcrap.

Day 2
Yesterday i eventually pulled the foreskin back. There is a stitch in the bottom that goes inside the glans and stops me from pulling the foreskin totally back. There is also a weird hole next to it
Everything is still a bit swollen, and not being able to pull the foresking back completely makes it hard to jugde. Where the frenulum started/ended on both the glans and foresking now there is a bump, as if they didn't cut it close enough, the bump is turning white, as if the skin is dead, so i hope it will look "less freaky" when the healing is done.
It doesn't hurt. They gave me painkillers (paracetamol/acetaminophen) and a stronger painkiller for emergencies, but i don't feel a thing, only sometimes a very light feeling of stinging. I do feel "something" down there... like an awareness of a wound.
Urinating doesn't bother me at all, no stinging at all while urinating, and very light stinging for a few minutes after urinating, totally bearable (my urine is not very concentrated, since i drink 3L+ of water/tea everyday).
I had a few erections during the night, light ones, maybe 30-40%. I did feel some stinging during the erection, that stitch in the bottom is really tight!
I keep an ice pack on my lap, and the ice really feels good, 1 or 2 more days and the swelling should be gone.
I'll upload another photo later today, after doing the washing/cream routine.

Day 3
Not much change since yesterday, still swollen at the "bottom" of the glans, i had a vein there, they did something to that vein, that whole area is really swollen and bruised. I guess it will take some time for my body to sort that out.
I woke up 3 times with erections during the night, no pain but it scared me. I did some research and read that having a full bladder will cause more erections during the night, so i'm going to drink a lot less after 6pm (all 3 times i woke up with erections, i got up and walked and as soon as the erection was gone i had to go urinate. As usual, i drank a lot of water all day).
I won't post everyday from now on, only if something significant happens, but i will keep adding a daily photo to the dropbox folder.

Day 7
So i kinda messed up today...
I was a bit too aggressive while washing this morning and pulled some of the wet scab too early and it bled a bit (wet scab is the white/yellowish stuff, because it's a moist environment scabs turn that color instead of the normal brown) .
The scab will form again if necessary, but now i added a few more days to the recovery
I still haven't had a good night of sleep since the surgery, erections wake me up every night. They don't really hurt but they apply pressure to the stitch that goes inside the glans and i can feel it (it's really weird the feeling!).
I now think that the surgeon placed that stitch like that on purpose. Unlike the other ones, this one goes deeper inside the glans (the one at the bottom of the glans) and it seems to work like an "erection alarm" to wake me up if the stitch is stretched too much.

Day 8
Scab is forming again on the glans where it was pulled off, but not on the prepuce side. I went to the pharmacy today and asked the pharmacist about a good cream for this, i have been using Bepanthen ointment and he said that it is very fatty and that it softened the scabs too much and made it easy for me to pull it off during washing. I'm now using Bepanthen cream. Another lesson learned...
The "erection alarm" stitch must be dissolving, it no longer "twitches" when i have erections at night (what a relief!).
This morning a new weird feeling started, it's like the glans is being gently pulled from the inside. I guess it is either the stitches starting to breakdown or the wound is contracting at a faster rate now and being on a such a sensitive body part, i can easily feel it.

It takes about 2 years for a scar to be fully mature!

Day 14
The first stitch on the glans fell while washing this morning. The surgeon made so many knots on each stitch and these knots keep digging into the skin and it really hurts, so since one was already gone i went to the doctor's office and asked them to remove the others. My nice bear doctor (bearded, very hairy and with a nice beer belly, but sadly straight...) had a look and said it was ok to remove them and sent me to the nurse. The nurse managed to remove 2 stitches, the ones that annoyed me most. The 3rd stitch is so deep into the flesh that she didn't dare to touch it. It hurt like hell removing the stitches, and she would have to dig into the flesh to cut the stitch and remove it. So i will wait for this one to drop on its own, this one (in the photo you can see it at the base of the glans) was the one that woke me up when i had erections in the beginning, but i hardly feel it now, even when i have an erection.
IF you are reading this because you are thinking of/going to have a frenuloplasty, ONLY get the stitches removed if they are really annoying/hurting you, otherwise let them be absorved. The pain is F*CKING unbelievable!!
Now my focus is healing the few scabs i have left and after that work on massaging the scars so they will fade faster.

Day 16
The last stitch is gone. I was going to try to loosen it with a pair of tweezers after the shower, and it just came out, it was only resting in the hole.
There is still a small scab next to where the stitch was and the stitch hole to heal. I'm still a bit afraid of the nocturnal erections, but i'm sleeping better now. I'm going to give it a few days before i try to have a proper (conscious) erection.

Day 20
Erections haven't bothered me at night for the past 3 days. This morning i managed to jerk off, i was a bit afraid to get an erection, but after i managed everything went well, no pain and no other issues, i just wanted to cum to get some relief and i was afraid of damaging anything, so it was very quick.
I never shot so much cum in my life before! ( i have a video for those interested , a friend requested that i recorded it, PM me for the link if you want to see it)
As you can see there is very little difference between the past 3 photos, all the healing is internal now.
For the next 2 months the scar tissue will get stronger and more even (flatten a bit), after that the capilaries created to supply blood to the wound will be destroyed and the scars will gradually become less "red".
Because of that there is no point in taking daily photos anymore. From now on i will take weekly photos, except for the period when i get that bit of frenulum attached to the foreskin removed.

Day 26
Everything is healed and i'm slowly starting to have sexual experiences. My follow up appointment was canceled and hasn't been rescheduled yet... so i'm not waiting for a doctor's ok, because rebooking an Urology appointment here might take more than 1 month.
The little flap of frenulum that was left annoys me a lot... but i can't do nohting about it until i talk do the doctor, one of my friends keeps calling it the "clitoris"....
I have jerked off 3 times, but i'm still insecure about it, always afraid it will damage the scars.
Having sex is now more a thing of regaining confidence than a physical limitation, but so far it is as pleasant as it was before, there is no pain or movement constriction with the foreskin.

Day 48
Sex finally!!
Earlier this week my bf sucked me and i told him to do it normally, without being afraid of hurting me with his teeth. It was normal, no pain and no swelling near the scars or the frenular artery (like it happened last week). The "solid mass" underneath the scar is much thinner and smaller.
Yesterday we had a threesome with a friend and i tried anal with him for the 1st time. Again, no pain or swelling, just pleasure!
The skin around the scars is less red in general.
Also, the frenulum leftover flap thing is now smaller. I used wart remover liquid for a week and it was enough to reduce it by half. I can live with that and i can always use wart remover again in the future if i want to get rid of it or make it smaller again.
