Ask him about it. Why he's never slept with a girl. Beat around the bush that you might be into guys, etc or just straight out ask him if he is into dudes. Just be careful and know that like most people have said, it isn't worth ruining a friendship over. If he is straight or just not comfortable with it, you could lose a good friend. Thats the decision all of us bi/gay guys have because we all have that one cute, possibly gay friend who we are head over heels for.

I know I have mine, but wouldn't ruin a friendship just to suck him off...*shrug*
 
I'm in a similar situation, and it is really hard to deal with, since he's your friend, and you want to tell him the truth, but don't know how he'd react, and at the same time you don't want to lose the friendship...and i'm going to give you the same advice someone gave me, tell him about your sexuality first. If you just drop the whole bomb on him at once, he could get spooked and bolt, which is something you obviously don't want to happen.
Its a big risk to take, but its better than not saying anything and just living with these desires you have for him, because they can very quickly take over your life.
No matter what happens though, you should let him know that you will always be there for him as a friend whenever he needs you. Hopefully things will turn out better for you than they are for me...
