I never missed a test in college, but I did show up a week late for a concert. Ouch,,over $100 bucks for that lesson.
 
I guess I'd never get an okay by a professor, then. My first reactions are always the private swearing and panic, and then when I approach a prof, I always tuck it in mumble since I figure they won't believe me anyway.

If only I could be more publically emotive! If only! WHHHYYYYY?!
 
Good to hear your professor kindly rescheduled your exam for tomorrow.The best laid plans...well,sometimes we just inadvertently screw up,confuse dates,times,appointments.Happened to me once,thankfully like you the professor(in a political science class) was flexible and understanding,rescheduling the test.Good luck Scott,I know you'll do well!

It's interesting that, though I haven't been going to school in DECADES, my dreams still have an occasional recurring theme that I am forgetting a final exam, or that I've gone the good part of a semester entirely forgetting about (say) an English class at 9am or a Chemistry class at 10am.

I have no plans to return to school, either. I've always wondered what this dream means, now that I'm 37 years after-the-fact (of being in school).
 
wow I would also have been frantic..yeah I had a final in college I almost missed, ran like a bat out of hell across campus to the test, made it with enough time to spare
 
When I was an under-graduate in college, I use to have these continuining night-mares about missing final exams!

It was uncanny how often I would have the same damn nightmare about over-sleeping and NOT making the exam.......

NO, the ending was NOT always the same either........one of the worst endings was the Prof refused a make-up exam and I got an I on my final!

So, I can tell you I know how you feel; but NOT feeling when it actually happened! lol

I am SOOOOOOOOOO happy that you've got the situation in hand and can make up the exam....

This IS the kind of thing to happen to me...

And so it did. Just now.

Why?

Why am I at a seemingly much more strict university where there seems to be nothing to do about it?

How is it possible to check the exam schedule basically everyday and only realize your exam is in the morning and not in the evening...the morning of the exam?

Don't worry Renn, it's just one exam. And really, it's just one class. You can always take it over, and in the long run, it doesn't mean that much. :)
