Fude between Apple & Mozilla?

Anyone know the story on this rumor? I'm suddenly having trouble and long waits for FireFox to launch, while Safari launches in a flash. Someone mentioned lawsuits and threats of lawsuits against Apple by Mozilla. Just wonder since I haven't heard anything but rumors and it wasn't Stevie Nicks singing either.

I have a PC, and always prefer Firefox over IE (Idiotic explorer - would you like pop ups with that?), but FF 3 installed and royally screwed itself, losing my settings, add ons and bookmarks. Don't know what happened or why but for me Firefox is the best browser and it wouldn't surprise me if Apple and Windows started worrying about their competition.

Firefox has always taken forever to launch for me, ever since version 1, it just a slow launch. I hardly use it because of how long it takes to launch.

Haven't heard anything. Firefox is a dog on my old G4 compared to Safari plus it tends to crash a lot. I use Camino and Safari about 50/50. Camino is pretty snappy. Internet Exploder is of no use whatsoever.

i've not heard of anything either. FF 2.x was starting very slowly for me for a while, but now with the upgrade to 3.x i'm not having that problem.

I checked too and i didn't find anything. When Vista came out.. it looked like Microsoft was trying to look like Mac OS X. I thought it was pathetic.. Trust me Apple is way ahead of Microsoft why would they copy them?

Firefox has always worked well for me with a quick launch and fast load times. I'm trying to get my mom to use FF.
