Scotty Bowers was a fantasist.
Read his book. Only about 10% is true
 
I saw the documentary on Bowers on broadcast TV. He seemed like he was aggrandizing it all in hindsight, but what was much more galvanizing in the program was his obsessive hoarding.

His wife was incredibly tolerant of it, so he was lucky in that.

I'm kinda egalitarian in my dislike of old whores of any stripe bragging in old age about their exploits. Seedy is seedy.
