Which reminds me of another reason I hate the idea of smart phones--the cost of the plans! I have an old voice only plan that (right now) I'm tempted to try to keep going as long as I can, just because it's cheap--at least for my current use model, which minimizes the amount I use phones.

I use the Spectrum $14/Gig plan. I barely use cellular data on my phone to keep it below a gig/month. I just use it if I need to use the maps program when I'm driving. Spectrum uses Verizon towers.
