I just don´t find gay porn maganizes around as in the past anymore. Are people getting tired of them or the Internet came to replace them?

I'm over the moon that my favourite local mag has been revived after several years.

They just seem to be reprinting all the old pics, but it means I can fill in a lot of the gaps in my collection.

So there IS a porn angel, after all!

The mags have gone PDF \o/

Porno magazines are so much more "portable" than anything online!

The only way to have porno anywhere you want it, is to print your favorite pictures - and, then, isn't that similar to making your own magazine?

It seems their demise is on the horizon.

Too bad. Nothing like curling up in bed with a good mag.

That's true. there was nothing better than to get in bed with a mag. I don't know, but getting in bed with your laptop isn't the same!

I haven't bought a gay mag in a couple of years. I kind of miss wandering into the neighbourhood magazine store (no longer there) and browsing the racks. Now I just browse the web. I think I'll have to wander out this afternoon and pick up some literature.

I'm actually young enough to have gotten all my porn needs met from the internet. Well, actually I did once buy a gay porn mag a few months ago for a friend of mine who was laid up in the hospital after having his appendix removed. Magazines are still the most portable form of porn.

I have a stack of them - but can't remember the last time I viewed them. They served their purpose prior to me having internet access. When I first joined JUB it was like one big "on-line" porn mag, what with all the galleries displaying endless porn pics, until the copyright issue put an end to them:(

I don't have to put up with the sneers when I buy them though, so I don't mind that it's all in teh interwebs.

I think all types of magazines are fading out. I was even forced to sign up for a free trial to Sports Illustrated after buying something at the Finish Line. I guess they are getting desperate for subscribers.

All porn mags in general have suffered from the internet. I forget the exact stats, but I think it goes something like this: only 1% of all internet sites are porn. But nearly 15% of all internet traffic is to those porn sites. That's a whole lotta people gettin their porn fix on the 'net !!!

I've never, ever bought a porn magazine, neither straight nor gay. For me it has always been online.

Wanna know an odd fact? I'm not sure as to the legitimacy of this, but, well, ALLEGEDLY, America spends more on porn in a year than the entire debt of sub-Saharan Africa.

Cum is easier to clean off a laptop screen than paper! THATS why mags a vanishing!

One reason the gay mags may be failing, is that many of them stopped paying their authors. As a writer of gay porn, as well as gay interest information pieces, I used to make a little extra on the side, but after several of my stories were published without credit, and without payment, I stopped submitting to the mags. I publish on Jub, and a few other sites, because I at least get some feedback if not income. The Mags didn't even give you feedback. They did themselves a disfavor by mistreating their contributors.
