Gay song that I wish the radio stations would play!!!

It's a bit too slow and its tempo is too sporadic for radio. It's comforting, maybe I'd listen to it as background music, but the lyrics lack subtlety for the subject matter. I'm being told that he loves a boy named Jesse who doesn't like him back and isn't sure about his feelings because he has a girlfriend...very literally. I'd rather there be more visual, descriptive language that conveys the same idea without just telling me.

The songs that I've heard by Ivri Lider (Jesse being the first, the others through Myspace and Yossi and Jagger), I can see why he is so highly praised in his country. He has a really great voice..

It wouldn't work on radio for 2 reasons, 1. It's too slow a tempo, and most people would change it. It's more for slow dances at parties/dances/clubs. 2. Many DJ's wouldn't want to 'anger' many of their listeners, and their bosses, by playing the song because of the still powerful homophobia in the music world.

I actually had something like this in highschool, except the guy was gay, I don't think he liked me back, and his name wasn't Jesse.
