As I moved more into the gay world and came out I never thought I would develop the gay voice - you know the voice with the slighty arch, faggy, queer undertone. And yet I did and the more I used it the more I liked it and the more it suited me and became an important part of my gay persona.
 
I'm glad you discovered something that works for you! I'm fascinated by this "gay voice" phenom. But I love voices and voice timbres in general.

It's the subject of various NY Times exploration/opinion pieces (like this one). There's even a great documentary out there, "Do I Sound Gay?" :)
