Hi!

I've been reading the forums at JUB for a while now and thought I would take the next step in signing up and introducing myself. I'm a bloke who just turned 24 and live in Australia, I have an awesome BF and we have been together for just over one and a half years. I'm not 'out' to my family yet but at the same time I wouldn't be surprised if they knew, this is something that I will deal with in the near future.

I made the decision a while ago that I would concentrate on finishing my study (few days left now) and start to let people know when I'm in a better position to deal with what might happen. I am a bit worried about my families reactions will be, but I expect/hope most of them to handle it fine. I have had my fair share of doubt on who I am as a person, who I should be/am expected to and all of that stuff but as I have got older I have accepted who I am, and if other people don't like it its not my problem.

In an attempt to describe myself I am a sport fanatic, love music, interested in politics/current affairs and I know morally what I stand for. Thanks for the opportunity to ramble on a bit and in helping me procrastinate from writing that final report

Finally and slightly OT, but I am still incensed about this.. but to those teenage fucks who decided to bash a 78 year old flamingo at Adelaide Zoo I really hope you get whats coming to ya. Wonderwall.

by the way thanks for mentioning the flamingo thing. i hadn't heard. i hope the bird starts eating again soon and the kids get the book thrown at them!

mikey - by all reports the flamingo is getting better, I think they let it back into its normal enclosure. The media is keeping up with the story which is good.. the bastards that did it are the most hated people in South Australia at the moment.
