I just want to say that I think this storyline is great and the directing/filming is beautiful. I love the mystery that has been created and I love how they show the end effect and then work up to it.

Yes, I heard that they were going to kill off Georgie in a violent way, reminiscent to Frankie's controversial death on "Another World," way back in the day.

If that's the case, GH must be more desperate for viewers than I thought. Viewers have watched this character grow up (literally) on the show with Lindze Letherman in the role... nobody wants to see her brutally murdered! If they're going to kill her off, that's one thing. But to do it in a brutal, violent fashion? It's too much, at least for that character, IMO.

awww man....u totally just took me back. the murder of Frankie Frame has to be one of the most disturbing moments in daytime history. STILL don't know what they could have possibly been thinking with that storyline. i don't really care for Georgie...or GH in general too much, but wouldn't wanna see her character killed off. especially when they could just do away with that slut-ass skank Maxie.

Daytime isn't about the good guys anymore. It's all about the bad guys. The whores, bitches, murderers/murderesses and psychos.

i figure they keep around because getting rid of her would be like a spit-in-the-face to everything they went through with her recieving BJ's heart.

If that was the case, they wouldn't have bothered to fire the talented Robyn Richards, who originated the role, just to bring in ex-Days alum Kirsten Storms in an effort to lure new fans.

Kirsten's a piece of shit actress, anyway. Girl could fuck up a coma scene.

true, true....i did prefer the Robyn, but i guess they wanted to "spice up" the role. Kirsten's not THAT bad though...she plays the bitch better than i would've thought though, after her sticky-sweet run on Days.

I watch six daytime dramas. "General Hospital" is not my favorite (that would be "One Life To Live"). And it's not my least fave (that would go to "Guiding Light").

And complain all you will, the show ranked No. 3 in the ratings for the week ending October 19. Heck, this has been ABC's No. 1 ranked daytime drama for the past 14 years.

It's in a bad state right now but this show, when it excels (think late 2004 when Alexis needed to get some marrow tissue from Sam's unborn baby, for Alexis and Sonny's daughter, Christina), it excels high.

Re: Robyn Richards. I started watching the show way back in '92 when she was literally a toddler. And as much as I liked the actress, her acting had not matured enough for the storyline they gave Maxie in 2003 (losing her virginity via that webcam scam). Storms is okay. She's a good ally for Sam whom I must say has been completely rejuvenated. I love bitchy Kelly Monaco!!!

My biggest beef at the moment is that neither Jack nor Kristina Wagner (supercouple Frisco & Felicia) will come back for their daughter Georgie's funeral. Hell, rumour has it "GH" won't even give Georgie a funeral.

I missed GH today for class (gotta love Modern Political Thought), but I caught yesterday's. God I loved watching Spinelli dance with Lulu--he was so adorable. And, Renegade, I'm with you 100%--I love Kelly Monaco as the "bitch." Seeing her punch that coward, Elizabeth, was awesome!

Steve Burton's Jason hasn't had a really hot romance on "General Hospital" since the surprise hit pairing of him and Robin way back in 1996. Too bad she had to go and blab about A.J. being the father of Michael and not Jason. Then again the actress -- Kimberly McCullogh was leaving the show, too so that was probably more to blame.

On the GOOD NEWS side of things. That ridiculously HOT ... can I say HOT one more time?, Brandon Barash (Johnny Zacchara) has been upped to contract status.

"We're loving what Brandon is doing," reports head writer Robert Guza Jr. And so are us fans

I actually did like Jason with Sam--much better than seeing her being used by Sonny (love Sonny, but he was using her as a stand-in for Carly). I liked it a hell of a lot better than watching Jason with Courtney, or Elizabeth--ughhh.

I am so excited Brandon well be on longer. I hope we get to see him shirtless!@!!!@! I like Jason and Sam much better than anyone he was with in the past...not Brenda I love anyone with Brenda she is one of the best tv characters. I also loved Brenda on 90210. I love Vanessa Marcel and Shannon Dorherty. I love that Jason had Brenda's pink room at his penthouse. Back to the topic.....scenes looked intense with the sword in Ric's chest. I feel this thread will be pretty popular for the duration of the Ball.

Killing Emily off...I couldn't believe when I read that. Especially how they said it starts as a fairy tale proposal and then she winds up dead.

I think they just didn't want that couple to work.

And I did like Jason with Sam. I personally am not a fan of Elizabeth, and watching Sam hit her was SO enjoyable.

Lulu I like as an actress, but I'm kind of sick of all the boys drooling after her and so many people in the town jumping to her aid.

And brutally murdering Georgie? *sigh*

Jason and Spinelli...that would be something VERY interesting to see!

They did have a gay character, but they backed out of it I think and he isn't on the show now.
