What did you guys get your boyfriends after a year of dating them for Christmas, birthdays, Valentines, etc ?
 
A stupid Sony Watch, which he 'said' he liked, but I KNEW he thought was too big, cumbersome and kind of tacky.

He like's geeky things... He knows and gave a great performance.

It's ok, that product has most likely discontinued production.


Worse, he doesn't even know he's my boyfreind/lover after 15 years... meaning?

Whatever would make them happy ;) The key is to pay attention to the little things, so that you know what that is. If I don't have an idea for some Meaningful Present (tm), I always listen and pay attention to what bands/writers/movies/tv shows/clothes he likes/wants etc.
 
I usually make things, like illustrated books or small paintings. Like Rolyo, I also pay attention to the little things and sometimes keep a running list of ideas.
