Giga Pets

Am i the only one that had a giga pet?

I got my first one in 1997. It was a dog. I was so into it. The first time it died i cried LOL.


Then later on i got a cat and a bird and my last one was a dog. That was in 2000.

I just saw in some draw and i was reminded of those days.

I had to get that 60 dollar rugrats one that talked and had it's own light and let you take care of multiple things. They really were all very stupid now that I think about it.

I had 2 Tamagotchi's (one green & yellow; the other red & yellow) A brown Digimon pet, & a blue Giga-pet with regular animals...all at different times, but they cost a pretty penny when your like 10 & dead broke...lol

Now you can get them at Wal-Mart for like $7...

I had a Tamagotchi before they come out. I remember I thought I was the shit cause I had one and no one else did lol. Its fun when your step dad is pals with the Toys R Us manager lol. I had several giga pets too. I liked them more.

Oh by the way..they still make both.

That's true, but it hasn't stopped Tamagotchis from moving online or being able to interact online. Sometimes I wonder if I wouldn't want mine again just for the novelty of having to take care of something.

I never understood the Tamagotchi craze. I can't even remember to water my plants and charge my phone or feed the dog. I can't have kids, I'd accidentally kill them.

And if you don't rear them right, they turn into some hideous duck/plant/rabbit hybrid. Ewww. Hate your children. Then reset them.
