Well, Thanksgiving day has come and gone. I will say it was better than I expected, given recent circumstances in my life. The bankruptcy hearing was supposed to have happened Tuesday before Thanksgiving, but car problems prevented it. The date has been rescheduled for December 7th -I'm renting a car for that day.
My family came up and spent the last few days here. It was good seeing them and I think it helped me to begin coming out of this depression I've been in since May. It also helped that they paid for the towing and rental car expenses related to the car problems. They also said they'd help with the repair bill.
I'm also thankful to everyone on JUB that have been offering support and encouragement throughout my ups and downs this year.
And here's the cool thing... Issue 2 of Pride High is now available! It's been really interesting working with a group of internet friends to develop and launch our own comic book. We're getting a lot of good press from some personal appearances of the writer -who's been doing everything out of his own pocket at this point.
