Glenn Ford noted for over 80 movies to his credit has made his last curtain-call to his fans.

I don't know if you younger JUBBERS remember/know very much about Glenn Ford; but he was one handsome, suave, debonaire "swooner" in his days at the theatre(s)!

I guess I, along with many others here on this site are revealing our ages to many of you when we state that we remember Mr. Ford and the very many movies he was credited as carrying and making millions and millions of dollars for the hollywood studios...

May he rest in peace and long be remembered as he was...(*8*) (*8*)

The Gazebo
Gilda
The Big Heat
Experiment in Terror

many more...

He was quite a hunk in his day, and a good actor, too. I enjoyed many of his movies. So many of the big stars from Hollywood's 'golden age' are gone, now .... kinda sad, really.

RIP Glenn Ford.

yes yes, Glenn Ford was a great actor.........two movies of his I liked that come to mind are The Gazebo and Fate is the Hunter........rest in peace my man.

I feel bad, I have no clue who he is!

That's okay Danno! I wouldn't have expected you, being soooo young, to know him anyway. I remember Glenn Ford best in his later years myself. I seem to recall a couple of TV series he had. And, of course, I've seen some of his earlier films.

My favorite Glenn Ford film...."The Courtship of Eddie's Father" (circa 1961)...It was the inspiration for the 1970's TV series later on. In this movie, Glenn Ford plays the father, and a young Ronny Howard plays "Eddie."

The Blackboard Jungle was a good one. It also launched the career of Vic Morrow, who was killed on the seet of the Twilight Zone in the 1980's.

Rest In Peace Mr. Ford and thank you!

I think it was Glenn Ford who came out with the memorable quote " I have only one other speed and it's slower".... an ideal reponse when people are trying to rush one beyond the comfort zone.

I liked his movies.
