Except that the LGBTQ+ lobby--which includes the Human Rights Campaign (the most prominent gay political organization), the Democratic Party and most media organizations--inextricably link "gay" and "trans", be it drag queens or transsexuality. The world--and certainly your avatar--sees gay to drag queen to transsexual as a continuum. I hold that the latter two have no more to do with me than they do to a heterosexual male.

There is an oft repeated and sometimes ironic question, "But is it good for the Jews?" I look at these issues and ask, without irony, "Is it good for the gays?" I doubt it is.

Because not every gay supports or enjoys drag culture. Not every gay endorses BDSM or biker or dog-collars or fetishes, especially in public displays with mixed audiences. Not every gay supports surgical gender "correction" or "reassignment," all the more after converted individuals have expressed regret after.

None of those things make a gay man unsupportive of the political and legal right of all sexual and orientation varants to have equal rights as citizens. BUT, too often that gets twisted into "anything goes" as far as public obscenity in pride parades, or other civic matters. That's why being "linked" can be considered negative when defending equality becomes connoted with agreeing with every lifestyle and variant.

I support legalization of marijuana for a number of reasons. None of the is because I think in 99% of cases it's a good thing or leads to good things. The same dichotomies exist for a host of issues, including LGBTQ, for most people.

You present an argument that only the conservatives lump others into buckets of "them," yet your posts constantly do exactly that in reverse. The self-titled progressives do the same thing all day long. Not all change is progress.

Really? I thought it was agreed upon by p much everyone that those cheesy Xmas movies made by Hallmark (and Lifetime, or any other channel/streaming service) are bloody awful. Hence the reason why I find it hilarious GLAAD and other activists treat the recent cluster of gay Xmas movies like they're cinema masterpieces. Nah, m8, they're not, they're just another cheesy, bloody awful Hallmark Xmas movie, lmao. As I've said in the past, just because a movie just so happens to be about gay romantic relationship doesn't automatically make it good. This says far more about your own issues than it does anyone else. What you said was in effect the same "grooming" crap invented by the haters to scare parents into thinking gay men are perverts who rape children - and that came out of your mouth. Then you just repeated it. Why you seem to buy onto negative stereotypes about gay men pushed by the bashers is entirely about you - but the fact remains, gay men are no more or less promiscuous or obscene than anyone else.

Well, I have, through hearsay in IRL and on social media. And them being included in lists naming the greatest gay LGBTQ films ever made (not just the Xmas-themed ones) makes it seem that way. It's especially cute when some 15-16 year old kid says something along the lines of, "OMG! Love, Simon is greatest gay film ever made!" Lmao, yeah, sure, whatever you say, kid. As for everything else you said, well, yeah, obviously. In fact, said kids are amongst that focus group and target audience. But I'm not, since, in case I haven't made blatantly clear, I couldn't care less for the romance or holiday season genre. In other words, my opinion is heavily biased.
