Hey there.

Rob here, from, erm, sunny(?) Britain. Been lurking around for a few months now, and decided to finally join for myself, as part of my coming out process. Grew up in a very religous family, which is somewhat unusual for where I live, and have found it hard to really come to terms with who I am, but am slowly getting there, and having browsed for quite a while, am sure that this will really help.

And while I'm here, a little about myself. I work on the coast as a drug dealer. Well, I dispense medication to the folks there, but that doesn't sound anywhere near as exciting. I'm pretty sporty, especially badminton and tennis, and also musical.

I recently visited the states - my first time outside Europe. I visited the small town of Franklin, TN, while I was there, which was fantastic; a real experience for me.

Anyway, I'll try and maintain a little mystery before this turns into an essay. Feel free to get in touch if you wanna know more.

Rob

Welcome. I hope you meet a lot of new friends. Coming out is a process. The most difficult is now over--coming out to yourself. BTW, I love the UK. Where you able to see more than TN while you were here?

No, I stayed in a very small area. I didn't realise how difficult the area was to traverse if relying on public transport. I was walking everywhere, which caused quite a bit of alarm (considering that a lot of roads lacked any type of sidewalk at all) - I think it was a bit of a culture shock for them as well as me!

excellent intro rob  but the all important question i ask all the euro guys is.... do you like doctor who? :)

Hey.

Thanks. Regarding Dr Who - I wasn't a fan until quite recently, but really got into the last couple of series, especially the last one with Catherine Tate as the assistant - I love her sketch comedy work and she brought something a little different to the show. I'm really looking forward to the set of specials which are due here shortly.

i really liked tate also. i know a lot of folks didn't, but i thought she was excellent. david tennant is hot by the way. ;)

two of the specials have already aired. the christmas special (the next doctor) and the easter special (planet of the dead).

I think there's a set of specials with David Tennant which are due to air here at some point, culminating in a change of doctor. Possibly four? Not sure exactly.

Yeah, I guess David Tennant is kinda hot. Had a sheltered life - keep forgetting to look at that! It's a bit odd seeing him with an English accent, and then seeing him as 'himself' with a Scottish one.
