I was curious as to how many of you all still watch Grey's Anatomy after all the controversy or how many of you have stopped watching because of it?

I hear a lot of people that do still watch it talking about how the controversy hampers their enjoyment of the show because they just hate Isaiah Washington so much.

I'm able to seperate characters from actors so I do still enjoy the show but I do feel uncomfortable whenever I see T.R. and Isaiah in any scene together.

Thoughts?

Its about damn time someone started a GA thread because its a very good show.

The episodes we have seen until yesterday were filmed before the Gloden Globes incident, so if you are interested in their chemistry watch subsequent episodes.

The show kind of outed me.

Some girls were talking about an episode and i just jumped right in.

Later one of the girls comes up to me and asks if i am gay, because only women and gay men watch GA.

Its good TV so i dont know why people have to stereotype everything.

Exactly. My brother always mentions Desperate Housewives as being a show only for women whenever I mention it. I always tell him the same thing I tell him when I mention soap operas. If you see a man in it, it can obviouslybe for men too or else there would be no male actors.

I think it's time for Justin Chambers, T.R. Knight and Kate Walsh to get nominated for Emmy's and Golden Globes....i mean yes Katherine and Chandra and Sandra deserved their nominations...still do...but I think the three mentioned before are all doing amazing this season...especially in this past episode!

I love grey's anatomy! and its not just for gay men and girls, i know a few straight guys who watch it. Its a brilliant show thats both funny and intelligent. I enjoy shows that are funny and intelligent.
Speaking of the controversy, i dont think many people will decide to turn their backs on such a great show because of the incident. Doing that would mean you would be missing some awesome stuff! By the way, does anyone know which episode of greys is the one filmed after the golden globes? im also curious if there are any kindof uncomfortable shoots between o'malley and burke.

i will start checking out this show soon..not a fan of Washington. But i think i can tune him out for the most part.

It's still a good show regardless of what happened, so I still watch it. Besides, if we boycotted everything that had homophobic undertones, would we ever be able to leave the house?

yep I like the show a lot. can't wait till next week when they continue the three episode trilogy.

where Is Merideth??? and i for one think washington will have to leave the show.

in the medical office i work at half of the staff watch the show religiously.

The show is good. But still it isn't diverse enough as the creator(who is BLACK) had stated it would be. There are only two African American men on the show?? And one black woman...

I still think this Isaiah situation is truly pathetic... As one of my friends mention the only reason this was even an issue is because Isaiah is black(spin it all you want, that's the reason). If he wasn't black... this wouldn't have been an issue and he wouldn't have to attend a damn clinic.

Yeah beacuse other than him being black what he said wasn't offensive - even though he did it twice, and lied in public, at one of the biggest gatherings on television lol. [-X The only reason why hes gone to rehab is because they want to make it look like they are trying to help him, as they don't want to loose his character from Greys. That way in acting in what the public see as a correct manner, they can quickley sweep the issue under the rug without loose a pivotal character.

The only issue i would have concerning him being black, is one minority insulting another - considering both groups campaign for equality and fairness.

Loving Greys this season, i found some information about Denny coming back in a future episode - you know Izzy's love intrest. ;)

The second time he said it and LIED about was the more disturbing part of the whole fiasco. To me, lying about it like that when everyone already knows is way worse than even saying it in the first place and says to me, no matter what he does, he truly isn't sorry for saying it and all the rehab crap is him trying to save his career.

Denny's coming back, do share:)

Fantastic show, really great soundtrack too. The website has a list of all the songs used in every episode. Lots of snow patrol.

Mel Gibson & Michael Rappaport aren't black and their hateful comments caused as much stir as Isaiahs'. If any of the non-black actors made the remarks, undoubtedly there would be just as much contraversy.
If anything, watching T.R. and Isaiah interact on the screen together, knowing the background, only indicates what fine actors they both are.
As far as the male/female/gay issue goes, yes there is a lot of drama and romance in the series, but there is also enough blood & guts and unusual medical issues to keep men interested too.

Ok The episode is not over but after that last scene i just had to chime in.

I generally have never had a problem with Merideth but tonight i must say she is/was such a BITCH to Lexi.

I dont know if she will apologize before the episode ends but i dont care if she does, because that was a nasty thing to say.

Georges patient was HOT, even doped up, kinda like when Issac from HEROES was hot when he was on drugs.

Mama Burke is made of awesome. Her conversations with everyone, aCe.
