I'm fully convinced of this aft being on craigslist, seeing guys take constant peeks in the locker rooms to "measure up" and the bromances.

Men are more sexual than women. Therefore it naturally follows that men are more bisexual too. The main reason people believe that female bisexuality is more common than male bisexuality is because of the porn industry. The belief is also brought about by women who use bisexuality as a marketing ploy or to get attention as a result of low self-esteem. Men don't use their sexuality as a marketing ploy in the way women do, and therefore they keep much of their bisexuality private.

Alfred Kinsey found that about 70% of men were bisexual in orientation. Too many straight boys will be up for a bit of fun and won't mind getting a bj from a decent dude if the opportunity arises. I just think society should own up to this and stop this double standard of sexuality.

End rant

Craigslist would not be a great indicator of how many men in actual society are bisexual. Curiosity does not necessarily have to be sexual in nature. Finally, while the notion bromance does not appeal to me, men can form close relationships without sex or sexuality being the basis for them.

Men tend to have higher sex drives than women, on average. However, this does not mean that men are more "bisexual" than women as a result. Furthermore, while there has been a progression in women's abilities to express themselves due to the sexual revolution, there is still some stigma towards women fully expressing sexual desires, fantasies, etc. as openly as men. Therefore, it can easily be argued that men are not necessarily more sexual than men, beyond the area of sex drives.

While Alfred Kinsey's studies a great for conjuring discussions, they were debunked as they were highly flawed. The Kinsey Scale is a good basis for observing variation in human sexuality. I do agree that there are many bisexual men and there is a double standard with male sexuality based on personal experiences, at the very least.

Great points. I never thought of it that way. What about all the straight guys getting blown by other guys then?

No, the Kinsey report found that 37% of men surveyed had at least one same-sex experience. And his numbers have been called into question because of selection bias (among other issues, 25% of his respondents were current or former prison inmates, and 5% were prostitutes).

You can read about more recent survey results here.

You are right I read it wrong. I still believe on view of male bisexuality though.

I wouldn't say that men are inherintly more sexual than women, just that men have more of a visual and physical 'need' compared to a mental one.

Also that society still sees horny men wanting to sleep around as more 'normal' than horny women wanting to sleep around.

From a stereotype point of view, I would also say women are more likely to be bisexual, but it could also be a stereotypical idea based off the fact that it is more socially acceptable than male bisexuality.
