Saw my first Halloween candy in stores for the year a couple days ago.

The slackers almost awaited until August. They make me sick.

Will that candy still be good, or as good as it ever was, three months from now? Spooky.

Not optimal. But most chocolate Halloween candy is good for six months to one year. And other hard candy different types are probably good for double that.

Loved all of it as a kid. Now the amount of sugar they use makes me nauseous.

So the buying strategy for candy to hand out to kids might be to buy when the stuff is on clearance on November 1st and saved for next year!
