i listened to the song on mtv a while back and i quickly turned the channel. his music doesn't really appeal to me. the song "golddigger" is probably the only song i like by him.

No, Discovery, the album containing both "One More Time" and "Harder Better Faster Stronger" came out in 2001. I fucking love Daft Punk. I saw them live at Lollapalooza, and they were incredible! It was the most exhilerating time of the summer.
 
I can't stand Kenya West!!! What a pompous son-of-a-bitch!!!! I hate people like him. I do love Daft Punk. I bought that CD the minute I heard it at Borders back in the day. I wore that CD out!!!
 
I read somewhere he was pissed about not being a performer on the big stage cause the color of his skin or something. He was jabbing at Britney. Than he's pissed he didn't win since he says he's the number 1 artist or something. I'm sure someone could find the exact quotes but I don't care enough about that jackass to look it up.

Discovery was also a solid fucking album. Plus, it's a rock opera too :)
