I tried it once and it hurts really bad, well for me that is. My mom uses them mostly for aches and cold i think. She doesnt complain about the pain, she says it feels good. I have a set of those plastic suction cups at home. Shes always asking me to put them on her...ugh. I hate that.
 
I've done it on others a few times. I tried it on my arm so I'd know how it feels and thought it just felt strange, not painful.
