Diddy isnt kicking anyone out I bet. He is the biggest drama queen. he would be stupid to get rid of Aubrey. Despite all the hate Aubrey is the most popular member. She's basically the face of the group. When you think Danity Kane you think of Aubrey first. She's the only one who markets herself and is connected with other celebrities. That's why she unfazed by Diddy firing her. The group would fail without her. And all this crap about Dawn going solo is nonsense. Dawn is too boring to go solo.

Word is that she got the boot on Thursdays episode, and D Woods gets it next season. They're annoying anyway, their music is God-awful and they really lay it on thick with the trampyness and skankyness. The only thing worse is Day 26, Q looks like a retarded chipmunk and a squirrel with down syndrome had a love-child. It's funny how he always tries so hard to close his mouth but can't.

True Q is an odd looking little man. He and Dawn are not a physically cute couple. But they are sweet to each other. But i really don't care about their romance.

What I can't stand about Danity Kane really stems from Puffy. I feel he tries to manafacture them into some kind of super group that he's envisioned, that he ends up compromising the girls' personalities and creativity. Now he's selling them to the public as this tired Pussycats Dolls ripoff. I wish he'd just lay off of them and quit trying to mold them into something they're not. And it's also true for Day26 (my what a stupid name) and Donnie.

And since we're on the subject of the guys, none of them look good to me. If I saw any of them on the street, I can guarantee I wouldn't look twice at any of them. I find the girls in Danity Kane much more attractive and sexy than those gross looking boys. And Donnie, eewww, too skinny and too much hair product.

I agree that Puffy is holding them back. Robin Antin let's the Pussycat Dolls be themselves. Puffy is constantly trying to control everything and intimidate both groups.

I disagree with you on their talent. They are more talented than the Pussycat Dolls. They can all sing and they can all dance. They dance better than the Dolls but their music isn't as poppy enough to do that big choreography.

As far as Day 26. There name does suck. Willie is the only hot one. The rest are busted.

^I think if given the choice people wouldnt want to be with Puffy or his bullshit. But the entertainment business is so hard you really have to go for any opportunity and take advantage of it.

It never surprises me how many people fall for Diddy, hook, line, and sinker. He's had 15 groups in the past decade. They release one or two albums, as soon as the sales drops, he drops them and moves on to greener pastuures.

I used to feel bad for them but if you haven't recognized his pattern by now, you's a fool.

Thank you. This has been a constant pattern. Danity Kane, Cassie, Day 26, Donnie, and anyone else under the Bad Boy label needs to move QUICK! As long as he is making money, it doesn't matter to him. Haven't you learned by now?

Diddy can't even properly support or promote his own album (wtf happened with Press Play). All he can manage to do for all his artists is release 2 videos and singles, then kills the momentum with horrible choices.

So, for anyone wanting to enter the music industry...avoid Bad Boy, J Records, Universal Motown, and RCA. Go anywhere else!!

Donnie makes me feel greasy just lookin' at him. Everytime I hear one of his songs I feel like I have to take a shower, nasty narrow ass.

Stop, I love me some Donnie!!! But Diddy was dumb for kicking her off. She really is the break out talent like her or not. I could care less about her but you can see from the press and even the show that she is beyond just being part of Danity Kane. Part two is this week so we shall see. I guess D.Woods leaves to. And Diddy might be all up Dawn's ass but she does not have break out star written all over her. And she's fugly as hell with them chicken legs and messed up weave. Don't they have stylist?!

All I'm sayin' is, if you ever meet him, bring LOTS of napkins.

Breakout talent is a bit of an exaggeration. Pretty blonde girls who kinda sing and sorta dance are a dime a dozen. Case in point, Britney Spears. I don't think Aubrey's going to be a mainstream staple for more than a year or two.

This is hilarious, being a fan of Aubrey and ragging on Dawn about her hair and style. Aubrey looks like a damn transvestite with all that damn weave and make-up. She's already overbleached her hair. She's a God-awful, Grade A, trampish, skankish, hot tranny mess.

No, don't get me wrong. I am NOT a fan of Aubrey. But she's the one that's out there.

I really admired Puffy but after he fired Aubrey & D Woods, I'm totally over him. I hope Aubrey comes back strong. I really like Dawn and wish her and Q well but this whole drama has cast a very large shadow and I refuse to watch another season of Making the Band.

I swear, everything Diddy touches turns to poison eventually.

Cassie (still signed with Bad Boy) and Faith are the only ones out of that bunch who are fighting for relevance in the music industry. It's going to be tough, Diddy doesn't know what he's doing.

I wish the members of Damien Kyle the best!

Hate to tell it to you guys but this group is microwave pop and Diddy has a representation of going through artists at lightening speed.

They're not going to be around forever so whatever Puffy does with the group, you'd better hurry up and enjoy it. There's nothing really distinct about them so on a scale of 1-10, their staying power is about a 4. Aubrey might come out with a big debut album, if she's lucky her sophomore effort will be a success (if people are still interested in her by then) but, like I said, they're not distinct. They're exchangable. Some new group will take their place soon enough.

Aubrey doesn't have the talent to stand on her own as a solo artist. She's better off doing modeling or something else maybe acting.

Marley, I have to disagree with you over one thing. Cassie has not fallen into oblivion, at least not yet. She's actually still doing well on the charts right now with Official Girl feat. Lil' Wayne.

^Not everything, here's a photo of a woman who escaped his dungeon some years ago. Since her escape she's done pretty well for herself what with all the platinum albums, grammy awards, and industry praise.

Unfortunately for every 1 Diddy survivor there is a countless list of artists who fell by the wayside into musical oblivion.

Case in point....

Yeah, but think about what Mary's life was like when she was with him. I think she describes that "My Life" period of her career as the lowest point in her life.

But back to Damien Kyle. I just saw the live finale. And to be honest, they didn't even say anything. All Diddy said was that he has nothing to do with their problems and it's the groups responsibility to work things out amongst themselves. And all the girls said was, they, as a family, are having "family issues". But that could mean anything.
I have no doubt that there will be another season of making the band. I mean, no way Diddy is going to miss an opportunity to make more money and create more publicity for himself.

My first reaction is they are going from being Pussycat Dolls wannabe to Sugababes lookalike.

She's going to have another hit or two but I wouldn't go investing any stock in her. Give her a few years to fade into oblivion.

If Danity Kane is a soul group then I'm the king of England. They're microwave dance-pop. There isn't a thing about that group that constitutes soul music.

I wouldn't even give cassie another hit. what happened to her album? i remember it was pushed back. that was awhile ago. where the hell is it now? & official girl is doing well on the charts? i havent been keeping up with her, but if it is doing well she needs to thank lil wayne for that.

Thats exactly what i was gonna say. what is soul about danity kane? they are pop & becoming poppier by the minute. the first album had a hint of soul, but i think diddy really wanted them to go more pop/dance for their soph. since they arent the greatest singers but they dance well.

diddy is an asshole, it seems like he thinks that he can just put people together who he thinks are talented and they will magically become multiplatinum selling groups by themselves. yeah they do get help from him but it seems like he tries to force his own vision on them too much and lets them go on from there without guidance. he reminds me of a parent that pressures their kids to follow in the same footsteps and if they dont turn out exactly how he wants them to be then he considers them failures. the worst part about it is those are the type of people who will pull the "i told you so" shit for every little thing they didnt do that he suggested to them when you know it wouldnt have made a damn difference. and i dont think selling what they have sold is something to be ashamed about. they are probably the most successful band he will put together and they did well for themselves given certain factors theyve had to work against.

Day 26 is a joke. They have talent but no star quality. Donnie is NOT going to happen.

All the girls of Danity Kane have talent. But the only person with star quality is Aubrey. From the first season I knew she would make the group. She's the only one I knew would make it. I was surprised when all the other girls did. Except for Dawn. Not because she stood out in any way but because of her Hurricane Katrina story which we were reminded of quite a bit.

LoL @ throw back thread, but since I hate making new ones -

Is anyone really surprised at how Damien Kyle turned out? We can all look at Diddy's long list of former proteges for reference.

I'll give Day 26 another season or two and expect the same outcome.

Maybe thats why Q has been throwing bitch-fits all season? Dawn giving him a heads up of whats to come?

I hate the way diddy fired all the girls. There could never be another Damien Kyle. I like dawn but I don't think she has the staying power for a solo career. Royalty checks are issued every 6 months and what a coincidence that he would dismantle the group as soon as the check is in the mail.

What I dont get is why Diddy allows all that crap to go on with Day 26, including physical violence but he fires the Damien Kyle girls because of essentially behind the back gossip and rumors. It seemed really mostly about Diddy not being able to control Aubrey. But with this live finale next week who knows what will happen? Those live finales are always unpredictable. I would say it was possible for Damien Kyle to be reassembled but I dont think Diddy is thrilled with Aubrey posing for Playboy and I think D. Woods and Shannon are have had enough of Diddy's antics.

fuck Day 26 and double Danity Kane...i'll stick to Total(the ORIGINAL bad girls) and 112. and yes i know Total weren't exactly know for show-stopping vocals, but i LOVE those girls!!! to this day i haven't been able to sit through a Damien Kyle song. shit, i actually prefer Dream to these chicks
