Have you ever been on a gay cruise or straight cruise?

Curious who has been on a gay cruise or even a straight cruise. I have been on a both but wanted to share my experience. A few years ago I went on a gay cruise. I was single at the time and my x called me up and was trying to find someone to share a room with on a gay cruise. I was single so I thought what the hell. I had such an amazing time. The group my x hangout with was amazing and they were all super welcoming. For the first time in my life and felt so comfortable and free. I did things I would never normally do like dance on the dance floor. I am in a wheelchair so some things are hard to do mentally as well as physically. Everyone on the ship was super amazing and I didn't really feel attitude from anyone. We went to a special dining room a lot because the first time we went we had a very hot Russian waiter. He was straight but he loved working gay cruises haha. Probably because he made a shitload of money because we tipped him so much haha,. He could put up with us hitting on him and flirting with him. The staff said over and over how much they loved working when it was for a gay cruise. They brought on so many decorations and DJ equipment and crazy lighting for the outdoor club basically that had so many lasers. It was an amazing time. Of course there was sex everywhere you could imagine. Being a porn owner I have seen my share of crazy things but this was blowjobs on the dance floor, in the sauna, steam room etc. It was more public stuff than I had seen before haha. It was an amazing experience. One thing to keep in mind whether you are single, a couple or whatever you will get what you want out of cruise. If you want to hoe it up you can certainly do that., If you are in a monogamous relationship that works too. We had a bit of everyone in our group. Funny thing is we were one of the first people on the Celebrity Edge ship and when we docked they made it into a straight cruise and removed all the decorations, DJ equipment, crazy lighting and lasers lol. There is definitely a huge difference between straight and gay cruises LOL. I highly recommend cruise whether you go on a gay or straight one they are super fun either way.

I have been on a cruise. It was a destination wedding to Bermuda. It was a lot of fun as 60 of the 100 guests of the wedding went on the cruise. It was a lot of fun.

I have been on a number of cruises - mostly in the Caribbean and South America - it is a great vacation because you get to see different places but your hotel room travels with you and there is no worry about drinking the water!

Apparnetly, there is such a thing as nude cruises. That could be interesting--although I'd worry about the other passengers taking one look at my nude body and then diving off the side of the ship to escape the sight.

I have been on 2 straight cruises. I have no one to travel with so went by myself. I enjoyed the first cruise, the people were friendly and the entertainment was good and it was a new experience, but all of the people were older than me and it wasn't anywhere near as exciting as JUB's was. The second cruise I didn't mix as well, so it was okay.

Never. And it doesn't appeal to me to go on one as a passenger, but I would have loved to work on one... twenty-five years ago.

I was on a straight cruise a few decades ago (1988'ish). I went with a straight buddy (he didn't know i was gay) because he had a good package deal-for-two. Neither of us had vacationed together before, nor had we ever been on a cruise. Turns out only old retired people go on cruises during the winter apparently. Yep, mostly retirees on a AARP cruise. It was still a good time for seeing the sights on the 10-day cruise. So much food available at all times. Neither of us drank any alcohol on the ship...that was way to expensive anyway.

A gay cruise does sound interesting to me. But I would not want to go on the gay cruise without a gay buddy. Now that I'm retired, and have the time and money to vacation, I can't get myself to go alone on a vacation trip of any sort. It is a mental thing for me. It just seems like I wouldn't have much fun if I didn't have anyone to talk to during the vacation.
