So I'm sure you all know of Airbnb. Well years ago, a gay couple felt uncomfortable with a homophobic AirBnB host they encountered and created Mister B&B specifically for gay folks to host other gay folks.

The site is interesting as the hosts' relationship status is usually listed and they can identify their moods as "social," "flirty," etc.

This month, I'm taking a trip. I decided to choose a place with a private room, meaning I'd be living with the host in a two bedroom situation for a few days. The place is listed as "clothing optional accepted." I picked a guy based on location, but he's also super cute. He accepted immediately.

I keep reading all these stories about folks (both straight and gay) hooking up with their hosts, and all I can do is daydream about me walking around his place naked and hoping something happens.

Now I'm not gonna be weird about it. But man, if he even makes a move I'm so ready haha. SO SO ready.

Anyway, anyone ever done this?

No. I've never used Airbnb and this thread is the first time I've heard of Mister B&B.

Sex tourism is surely as old as tourism.

I've never heard anyone speak of it in relation to Airbnb, nor had I heard of Mister B&B.

It would seem likely that it could all go south very quickly, not so much for you, but for the owners, as fucking guests no doubt leaves them wide open for accusations, lawsuits, etc. and I can't see the "hold harmless" forms being allowed by Air B&B. Maybe Mister B&B has exactly that. Not sure they would hold up though, as no means no.

In a lot of ways, it just sounds like Grindr Lite, or Grindr Plus if you think if it as adding accomodations.

Will have to read about it and see if it catches on.

Good luck with your trip. There has been a nudist camp advertizing on one of the local radio stations here, a real surprise in Alabama.
 
I recently stayed in an airbnb although I was a guest of another. I never saw the landlord and believe my roommate was only in contact with him online.
 
yup - New Orleans - stayed at a Mister B&B with clothing optional - basically the same layout as you described - it was a 3 bedroom and share the common parts of the house - the 3rd room was not booked/occupied - I got in from a late night flight but was still amped up from being in Norleans which is my fav city -the entrance to the house was keypad and didn't meet host when I arrived - showered and then lounged nude in the living room watching the tube - woke up to him sucking on my cock
 
Never used Airbnb or any similar service. However:

I've had hotel staff insinuate sex and I've been more than happy to reciprocate. I think the percentage of gay men in the hotel business at various levels is relatively high, and they tend to be good-looking.
