Sometimes, I feel guilty bragging about the wonderful guy I share my life with. I know that there are so many others out there who would do just about anything to have what I have with Dave. But I have to share this, because he is just so sweet!
On New Years Eve, we were at my Dad's house. And when we arrived home, I checked in with JUB before joining him in bed, as is my usual custom. When I crawled under the covers to join him, he was wide awake and wanting a little loving! I never refuse my guy! When it was done, he promised to make me breakfast in the morning. I said "Yeah, sure." but I didn't expect anything.
Waking up at about 10AM, he was already out of bed. He must have heard me, because seconds later, he came in with a steaming mug of coffee and the newspaper. I offered to get up and fix breakfast for him, but he told me to stay put because he was going to be back in a couple of minutes to serve me breakfast in bed. He returned once again with scrambled eggs, brown-n-serve sausages, and toast for two! He took his jeans and t-shirt off, and joined me in bed, as naked as I was! We had a nice breakfast, and "dessert"!
When we finally decided to get out of bed, I thanked him over and over again for such a great start to our new year. And he brought tears to my eyes when he said "I could never do enough to show you how much you mean to me."
He is awesome! And I feel so fortunate to have him to rock my world and love me...
