SMH---Another embarrasing question that i can pnly ask on the web. I’m thinking it a medical issue or something but long story short, my asshole usually always stinks. I cannot see myself ever getting rimmed because of that but I don’t think I would like it anyways. Even after I take a shower after scrubbing really hard, I can put my finger near my hole and smell not so fresh. Is anyone else like this? Am I normal or should I douche. I read the ass thread and saw it’s not good for you but maybe I should start doing that.

It may be a stupid question but i want sex with my partner for the first time to be perfect and enjoyable for the both of us. Thats why i asked!

Use flushable wipes as a final clean up after you shit. When showering use plenty of soap and slip a finger inside your hole.

The human body has natural smells. There are plenty of guys who like musky scents, so just because it bothers you doesn't mean that other guys wouldn't be turned on by it.

If it really bothers you, then there are things that you can do to mask it. As soreknees suggested, the wet wipes (in the US, Cottonelle is a common brand) work well. The wipes that are sold in the baby section are scented.

Another option is to use a scented/flavored lube. Wet makes several lubes that have fruit flavors.

Kara, I've been using baby wipes for the last year after a bout of hemorrhoids. Never saw wipes for adults. Is there anything wrong with an adult using the baby wipes?

Baby skin is very sensitive, so the baby products work well for adult who have allergies or sensitive skin. Products like A&D Ointment and Desitin work well for adults, too.

The adult and child products are pretty much the same. The wipe is a material similar to what is used for dryer sheets which is soaked in saline solution and a mild detergent (similar to what is in baby shampoo).

The baby version of the wipes have that baby oil/baby lotion/baby powder type smell and unless you hate that smell, they're fine to use for any age. The ones to avoid are the handwipes and castile wipes (e.g. Purell, Wet Ones) that have alcohol or castile soap which tends to burn perianal tissues that are irritated.

Some adults have sensitivity to Lanolin which is an oily waxy sebum that is extracted from sheep's wool, so if you have skin that tends to get irritated easily, you might want to avoid the products that contain Lanolin.
