help! painful urination, etc. (prostatitis?)

about 2 months ago, i began having painful urination, itching inside urethra, and milky discharge. i went to a clinic, got tested and took doxycycline. the antibiotics cured me 100% but my test was also negative for ghon and chlam. I had sex (protected anal/unprotected oral) shortly after (different partner) and began having symptoms again. I got tested once again, but this time was given bactrim. symptoms are still there, but minimal. I also have cloudy urine, and just seems like constantly wet tip. I was again, tested negative for ghon, chlam, shyphilis, and hiv. Im unsure where to go from here.
Id like to take doxy again, since that actually worked. maybe bactrim wasnt the right treatment second time around? could it be prostatitis?? any help would be appreciated.
 
Go back to the Dr that treated you for the previous infections, have him redo the culture and sensitivity tests, to see if you may have been reinfected with a different strain of bacteria, you may have also had a somewhat resistant strain of bacteria earlier, the previous treatment may have killed enough of the infection to make you asymtematic then the resistant bacteria grew to a large enough population to make you symtematic again. Get re checked again. It may be a more resistant strain of what you were treated for initially or something else that the bactrim didn't take care of. Prostatitis can take multiple treatments to get rid of the problem.
 
Did your doc do a urine culture in addition to the gonnococcus and chlamydia cultures?
 
You MAY have stopped talking the antibiotics too soon for them to have cleared up the infection; you said you stopped taking them as soon as the symptoms went away, but did you take the entire course that was prescribed to you? If not, you just created a resistant strain. . .so the same medication may not be as effective.
 
1.I only received blood and urine. no swab.

2. nomenclature: i never said i stopped taking them. what i did do the second time around with bactrim, was skipped 3 days as i was i had been drinking moderately and in the sun one weekend. then finished up the last 4 pills mon/tues.

My symptoms are pretty minimal and seem to be slowly getting better. The only thing that worries me is that i kind of have leaking urine and a lot of precum if im hard. did i damage the inside?
 
"Leaking urine".... explain what you mean.
