(sorry for the double post in CO&R, but this is an EMERGENCY)

FUCK!

Bad date.

Well, what was SUPPOSED to be a good date turned out to be not so great and potentially disastrous.

a) I didn't want to blow him or bottom in order to play safe.

b) He smelled like beer. Jesus dude, have a shower first!

c) He was just rubbing up against my behind, NO penetration, and then he came all of a sudden around that area without warning! WTF!

I'm scared as fucking hell that I could get something, cause his cum was just all over the fucking region, even if he wasn't in me or anything. You know, seepage in between the crack...

FUCK. How risky is that? WHAT DO I DO?! How bad do you think my chances are?

I washed like mad after, trying not to agitate the area... with soap and hot water. I also grilled him about his STD status (before AND after), and he says he's clean, no HIV, etc.

Do these people lie about these things? Sigh.

To think I planned to play it completely safe, but lesson learned: Don't let them fucking even NEAR any orifices.

HELP!

And he says he only tops, and I kinda believe him.... fuck. What do I do guys, I'm freaking out over here...

I think you'll be fine. If there was no penetration I don't think you'll be at risk.

You should get tested just to be safe but I've heard that any infection takes six months to be detectable.

Your HIV risk is extremely low if there was no penetration during or after he ejaculated.

Probably your most significant risk would be for herpes or genital warts. This is always a risk with frottage.

For your peace of mind, get STD testing. It can take at least 6 weeks to 3 months for a positive HIV antibody test. There's a more expensive antigen test but given the low risk, you should stick with the antibody testing.

I know the rules for playing "safe", even confuse us old timers. I agree with above posts. It sounds like you are safe. You might want to take this as an opportunity to talk with an AIDS clinic, or get more info. AIDS is harder to catch than you might think. But with that said, you only have one life, so learn to play safe. Next time, before you get naked, set the rules.

I also recommend that if you're uncertain of what your risk is with HIV, that you go to your local LGBT-friendly clinic and sign up for a one-day workshop. It's just one day and you can learn all about STI's and transmission and how to play safe with non-judgmental people and an expert.

It did a lot of good for me, and I was able to pass that information on to my friends.
