Well, thanks to my own stupidity, about a week before Christmas, I tripped and fell on concrete pavement. I had what is known in the realm of safety and accident prevention as a "good fall" - that is to say, I landed on all fours. My right knee developed a tiny spot of sensitivity when I have to kneel down on the floor, but that has healed nicely in the past couple of weeks. My left hand - not so much, and that's what I need some advice on.
Good Monday morning, everyone. Happy New Year's and I hope you are doing well.
On this map of a left hand, here is where I hurt mine. The impact of me falling sprained that big muscle at the bottom of your hand that controls your thumb. I've kept it on ice, and I bought one of thost $13 velcro thumb support gloves (ouch! again
), although it did help. But I still have some mild pain. Is there anything I can do other than ice and wearing the glove that will help make the pain go away?
Disclosure >> by profession, I'm an overnight stocker for a retail store, so my job requires me to use my hand - hurt or not, so I need it. The glove has helped a great deal with that, even though it was quite pricey.
Thanks.
