My parents are cleaning freaks, and have a bad habit of tossing and mixing my things with my brother's.

I ended up picking up my brother's tweezer with dried blood on it - I don't know how long it had been on there - in my bathroom purse... It may have come in contact with my toothbrush or my own tweezers....

Is there any chance for Hep C transmission? All I know of my bro is that he sleeps around with chicks a lot and prides himself on never having been tested for anything

If it's dried blood that does contain hep c but is over 4 days old, it's likely dead...

Additionally, if you simply touched it with your fingers, there's little chance of anything, given you wash your hands (properly) on a regular basis.

Google it.

Sorry TourDeFrance hep c can remain contagious in tiny specks of dried blood
for months . @op if you just touched it with your fingers ,then did not rub your eyes then you should be ok buddy , i dont know if i would say the same for your
brother , anyone who is proud that they fuck around and dont use protection
really are tempting fate cant you maybe have a chat with him.
As up to 68% of people dont know that they have Hep C until the damage is done.

... and you don't know whether your brother has hep c or not.

^^^^^^

This is such an important issue that Corny has raised , also on re-reading
your original post about how it may have come into contact with your toothbrush
TAKE no chances buddy , throw away that 1 and buy a new 1 because their are
many documanted cases where HEP C has been contracted this way .
There is treatment for Hep C which consists of an injection of Pegylated Interferon
once a week in your tummy plus Ribaflavin capsules daily.
It is a long course of treatment and depending on which strain you have (and i am
not saying you have it dude) the success rate for ridden your body of this silent
killer can be as much as 80% .
So please try to not only see the bad side.
Take care and please remember the chances are very slim.
