hi guys :)
so i meet him like 2 month ago and we started to chat and talk for like 15 hours straight daily .. not kidding ehheeh , even in the bathroom... lol. hehe , and we are dating since then. He always is so cute and sweet with me, in my past relationships i never felt the other person during the kisses, but this guy .. since the first kiss OMGAH.. !oops! moved my world ehehe ...

he told me like 3 weeks ago that he was hiv+, he was scared about my reaction but i really was supportive, as long as we had care and safe sex, that not was a huge problem.. i joked saying ..so what?? would be similar if you where diabetic hehe..

im not gonna lie we know that there is still a risk.. but he agreed to go with me to do the test and talk to a doctor periodically.

oh i forgot. he's already in treatment .. im his third alarm to take the pills, 2 every 12 hours and 1 every 24 hours. hehehe.

So here is my question.... what extra care i/we should take?.. i know we cant do barebacks, he cant cum on me... he doesnt precum .:gogirl:.. we cant kiss if he got a injury on his mouth.. i cant make him bleed.. and those basic things is all i know..... and the other question is if any of you have been in a long relationship whit a hiv+ patner? i really see a future with this guy but i want to know about others relationships like this.

Morning buddy.
Firstly can i say that you deciding to stay with your man after being told brought
a warm feeling.
Your best bet would be to get in touch with one of your local gay helplines for the
most updated information as there are some thing,s that you can still do.
Take him cumming on you, there is no risk if your boyfriend cum,s on your stomach
as long as there are no open sores or eczema on you and you take the proper
precaution,s. As for oral sex there is much debate about how easy or hard it is to contract hiv through giving your boyfriend a blowjob.
All these questions and probably many more that you have can be answered properly from one of your local group,s(if you do not have anywhere local then contact your nearest advice centre) it is a shame but there is still so much ignorance about hiv both on and off the scene. Wishing you both all the best. (*8*)

As there is no sharing of tooth brush ...
To be on the safe side, no touching of body fluid such as exchange of saliva, cum on body ... etc

I dont think that there has ever been one documented case where a person has
contracted hiv through saliva,i can vaguely remember reading in the Lancet that
all the top dr,s in the field of infectious disease came to the conclusion that you would have to ingest over one litre of saliva for this to even be a very rare possibility, you do make an excellent point about the sharing of certain thing,s.
As you said you should never share toothbrushes or razors, even though the HIV
Virus does not survive for long once it is outside the nice and warm and comfy environs of the blood-stream,you still have other blood-borne viruses such as Hepatitis A B and of course C (which is known as the silent killer). In our local
infectious disease unit, which is a combination of 3 ward,s and a very busy outpatients dept in the last year more people have died from Hepatitis C than any
AID,s related opportunistic infection. So please play safe and get yourself as educated and up-dated on this horrible collection of killer.s as you can. (*8*)

It's really nice of you that you didn't discriminate this guy for being HIV+, as it's something that could happen to anyone (me myself I'm being told tomorrow whether I'm pos or neg!!)

One thing that nobody has mentioned directly, is that he should be more worried than you about STDs, since if he gets any STD from you, this could complicate his treatment a lot (that's what I've been told), and there are many infections that are more easily transmitted than HIV. Medic1 already made a point about Hepatitis.

Make sure you get tested for all STDs first if you want to protect him. And then use condoms for every penetrative anal sex.

About protected/unprotected oral sex, I've read both opinions in favour and against. So it should me more a case of who you want to believe, or how safe you want to play, versus how much you really want to sacrifice.

Good luck with your relationship. I'm sure you mean a lot for him as well!

I suggest you google "magnet couples" to read how they mange their relationships. Sounds like you know that the HIV virus is spread through blood and semen for gay couples. Keep those fluids contained and the major hurdles are conquered. Best wishes!

To be honest, we should all protect ourselves by assuming our sex partners are POZ. Even STD's that are "curable" can be hard to detect and get treated and can be harmful to your health. You don't indicate, but if you are primarily a TOP in the relationship, TOP activities are lower risk for you. Fucking with a condom, getting a bj, cumming on him, etc. Oral sex is really low risk, especially if he doesn't cum in your mouth, and always with the caveat that neither of you have sores, lesions, etc. As advised above, you should see a qualified HIV counsellor....together. Also, write down your questions before you go, so you make sure you get the answers you need.

@medic1 thanks bud.. sadly there's not a gay helpline where i live.... im from venezuela. most of the people still think that being gay means be a queer... his Dr told me that she could give me advices and that i could ask her anything.

well toothbrushes and razors are personal objects that shouldn't be shared. thanks for point the hepatitis.

@fed1983 well dude im always grateful about the way i was raised.. hehe you cant discriminate someone for that , and thanks for the advice but im healthy he's the 2nd guy that i been had sex.. since .. im a bit reserved.. the other person should mean something to me before i agree to have sex , plus i always ask for a STDs before get into the action hehehhe . i will checkup again for STDs on my next checkup

@mbamike thanks dude :)

@cocksucker4use.. im always bot. hhehe , but we had fun and i was top for first time :O .. always with a condom hehe and ALOT Of lube...
