Hey guys!! I just wanted some ideas, my partner's birthday is coming up. I do pretty well with getting him unique gifts, something more than you just run out and buy. However, this year I am hitting a road block. It's his fourth birthday with us being together, he's turning 46, loves Pink Floyd, car guy, plays the guitar, but very simple and laid back. I've asked him every year, what do you want, oh it doesn't matter ... Do you know how angry that makes me? haha So, if anyone has any ideas or off the wall suggestions (little Pink Floyd reference there)...I'd be so thankful.

Will there be any car shows near your area? Perhaps there's a bus tour to one (probably after the first of the year) that you could buy tickets for him.
 
I haven't heard of any car shows coming up, but we do enjoy going to them. There's a new car show coming up before long, but it may be at the first of the year, I can't remember, I'll have to look into it. Good idea. :)
 
Is he into techie type stuff? If so I'd say go for an iPod touch or whatever one you like; load it up with his favorite music; wrap it back up; and give it to him. Or you can always go for something to use WITH the car/guitar/music idea. Like a new set of good quality headphones or a new speaker system for the house; like a boom box or whatever.
 
He already has all that stuff, lol. His iPod is loaded, he bought nice headphone this year, has a decent sound system at home, has his guitar stuff (stool, amp, shelf, hanger) ... I am drawing a blank. He has an older motorcycle, so I thought about getting saddle bags.
 
Well I'm shot down and out of ideas. If he likes saddle bags I say go with it. :)

As a fan of the band, I guess he has all the items like cd's, dvd's and at least a t-shirt, right?
Is he running out of guitar strings? What about a new guitar strap? Maybe he has everything of that already.
A concert ticket? A new helmet for his motorcycle?

You guys are awesome to help, but yeah, he has all that. Has strings, straps (A Dark Side of the Moon strap I bought him at Christmas, lol), just bought the helmet (because he just got the bike a couple months ago) ...

There is a movie he wants to see that comes out on his actual birthday. Maybe that's a possibility.
