I didn’t re-introduce myself when I first returned because I wasn’t sure if I was going to stick around.
A lot of you may know me as Stacy, Haunted1, Haunted, DarlingStacy, and or CallMeWhenYoureSober.
I had a tumultuous time here in the early 2000s. And while I am a different person now, I still have a love/hate relationship with the internet and message boards.
So why return? Yes. It is fair to say that I came back for a specific reason: I wrote a gay romance novel I hoped some of you guys would like.
But to say that it was my only motivation is not accurate. My time here wasn’t all bad. I learned a lot about myself, and I made a few friends. Lyconthrope, who I sort of bullied into also returning, has been one of my best friends for going on 20 years now. All because I set up an LA meet for Gay Days at Disneyland in 2006, and she got on a plane from the UK to come stay with a near stranger from a gay porn message board. Life is strange.
Anyway, to anyone who might have recognized my username from following my ‘real’ name on social media, hello. I was not purposely hiding my identity.
Anastasia Reeves is my pen name for all spicy romance. My posts here and anywhere else you might see me are all Stacy.
