Not Amityville house?
I saw a scary movie once, there was this woman in a big white dress and she was enslaving some poor hunk of a man in front of a priest, the nightmare ended with "you may kiss the bride"
now that is horror for you!

okay....i've got one. and bare with me because i tend to ramble...
anyway... i can't remember the actual plot, but basically there 3 women who found themselves at a house. not sure if they'd been stranded, lost or whatever but, the house i think is inhabited by a "mom and dad" who happen to be keeping a secret in their basement. i think it was their monstrously deformed son. 2 of the girls end up dying i think. one is killed with an ax i believe.
the other, hears strange sounds coming from a vent in the floor. she puts her face to the vent to listen, but the drawstrings from her hood slide between the slats of the vent. the "monster" grabs hold of them and ends up snapping her neck, or possibly her face gets pulled through the slats.
i think the heroine ends up killing the monster with a 2x4 that has a nail sticking out the end of it. does anybody have a CLUE wtf movie i'm thinking of...or am i just tripping?
that first description reminded me of that god awful movie with Dennis Quaid where they move to the big house and it wasn't scary at all. just really lame and maybe a horse drowned in a pool? and the music during the "suspenseful" parts sounded like the Will & Grace theme.
it was such a lame movie.
I saw a similar one--except they were in front of a guy in a powder blue suit and way to young and stupid to being getting married.![]()
The movie your lookin for is called "The Unseen": It came out in 1980 and starred Barbara Bach and Douglas Barr. The 3 women are heading out to Solvang Calif and end up at an old farmhouse run by a old couple who have something living in the basement. I saw this when it first came out, it gave me the creeps, pretty good slasher flick
That was an awful movie: I don't even remember how it ended, but I do remember it had a lousy ending as well. The only remotely "scary" part was the moment some snakes turned up; and even that didn't last very long.
THANK YOU!!! that shit's been buggin the hell outta me. posted the question on actual horror movie message board...and all i got was bitched out for putting the thread in the wrong section![]()
